A Final Warning: Stop Buying Tickets from Scammers

I keep warning everyone not to buy tickets from random scammers. Yet many people ignore that advice, get scammed, and then message me or the other moderators expecting us to fix the situation. For some reason, many of you are happy to risk your money on suspicious sellers offering unrealistically cheap prices. But when trusted sellers or moderators offer legitimate tickets, suddenly the price seems "too high" and people start questioning whether we are trustworthy.I have even been scammed myself while selling tickets. A buyer was supposed to pay using PayPal Friends & Family but sent a different payment instead. After I transferred the ticket, they never paid the remaining amount. That experience taught me that not everyone deserves your trust. If you choose to buy the cheapest tickets you can find instead of purchasing from verified sellers, then please accept the risks that come with that decision. Do not ignore our advice and then expect moderators to solve every problem afterward. The moderation team, including our head moderator and the rest of us, spends our own time helping this community for free. We repeatedly warn people about scams because we genuinely want to protect buyers.

For example, u/RedMonkey28 listed legitimate Colombia vs. Ghana tickets, but many people ignored that listing because they found cheaper offers elsewhere. Those verified tickets still have not sold. Meanwhile, I have already seen at least six people scammed while trying to buy tickets for the same match, with combined losses of roughly $2,000.We cannot force anyone to make safe choices. If you ignore repeated warnings and decide to take unnecessary risks, the responsibility ultimately falls on you.

If you do get scammed, send us a Modmail. We will review your report, but please do not repeatedly message individual moderators after ignoring the advice we have been giving from the beginning.

Thank you.

If You Had $1,000 to Upgrade Your PC Today, What Would You Buy First?

Imagine you have a $1,000 budget dedicated entirely to upgrading your PC. You can spend it however you like, but there is one catch: you have to choose what comes first.

Would you invest in a new graphics card for better gaming performance? Upgrade to a faster processor? Add more memory, a larger NVMe SSD, or finally replace that aging power supply? Maybe you would put the money toward a high-refresh-rate monitor or a quieter cooling setup instead.

There is no right or wrong answer. Every system has different strengths, weaknesses, and priorities.

Tell us:

  • What hardware would you upgrade first?
  • What is your current setup?
  • Why do you think that upgrade would have the biggest impact?

Whether you are a gamer, content creator, programmer, or simply enjoy building PCs, we would love to hear your reasoning. Your experience could help someone else decide where to spend their next upgrade budget.

I am trying to build an AutoMod application that can automatically create posts and update event schedules for a subreddit. The idea is to automate things like game threads, scheduled discussions, event calendars, and recurring posts without requiring manual updates. Can anyone help me with Reddit API integration, bot development, scheduled posting systems, or AutoMod configuration? Any advice, resources, or examples would be greatly appreciated.

AITAH for changing the Wi-Fi password after my roommate basically turned our apartment into a mini coworking space without asking me?

I (22M) share an apartment with my roommate Jake (23M). We split everything evenly and usually don’t have problems.A while ago I started noticing random people in our apartment almost every day. At first I thought they were his classmates or friends, but eventually I realized they were complete strangers.Turns out he had been advertising our apartment online as a quiet place for students and remote workers to come study or work for a few hours. People were actually paying him to sit in our living room and use the Wi-Fi.The issue is he never asked me if I was okay with this. I’d wake up and there would already be strangers sitting in the kitchen. One time I came out of the shower and there were three people working at our table like it was a café. Another guy even opened our fridge without asking.I told Jake multiple times that it made me uncomfortable, but he kept brushing it off because he was making extra money from it.

After weeks of arguing, I finally changed the Wi-Fi password and refused to give him the new one unless he stopped bringing random people over. Now he’s angry because the people who paid him are demanding refunds and leaving bad reviews on his listing. Some of our friends think I should’ve handled it differently instead of embarrassing him financially.

AITAH?

Weird FPS drops and stuttering even though my PC should be fine what am I missing?

I am kind of stuck and hoping someone can help. My PC isn’t super high-end, but it’s definitely not weak either, yet I keep getting random FPS drops and stutters in games that should run smoothly. Sometimes it runs perfectly fine, then suddenly dips for no reason.I have checked temps, updated drivers, closed background apps, and nothing seems off. It just feels inconsistent and I can’t figure out what’s causing it.Has anyone dealt with something like this before? What should I check next?

Do you think NVIDIA still cares about average gamers anymore?

Lately it feels like NVIDIA is becoming more focused on artificial intelligence, enterprise hardware, and high-end products instead of regular gamers.A lot of people are talking about GPU prices, limited availability, higher power usage, and features that casual users may never even use. Meanwhile, building or upgrading a gaming computer keeps getting more expensive every year.I am curious how other people see it. Do you think NVIDIA still prioritizes normal gaming users, or has the company mostly shifted its attention toward artificial intelligence and premium hardware markets?
