Buying a gun after military separation with an out of state license

Hey so I’m moving back home to Texas in a few weeks after doing 5 years in the Navy, and I’m wanting to buy a rifle, however I have a Washington state license since that’s where I was stationed. Do I need to get a new license entirely, or would documents such as my separation orders meet the requirements for Texas residency, or will any other documents do you guys recommend to meet the requirements? Another note the rifle I’m wanting to buy is a Springfield armory M1A which is illegal in Washington state, but have no intention of returning the rifle to Washington state.

Do not order from this company

Hey so I just wanted to give warning for anyone looking for parts for their motorcycle of a particularly terrible company out there Nash Motorcycle Co. back on April 6th 2026 I ordered some custom handlebars from them with an estimate for 3 weeks for production and shipping, after about 4 weeks I emailed them asking where they were in the production process, and was told they we’re getting powder coated and should ship next week, and after multiple weekly check ins of obviously them lying like bro I know damn well they’re not at powder coat for almost 2 months. Luckily I’ve disputed the charge with my credit card issuer in time and look to be getting my money back. In hindsight I should’ve looked at reviews from other buyers almost all of which are abysmal and the company has an F rating from the better business bureau. Like I said if you’re in the market for parts like handlebars, or anything else definitely avoid this company, and if anyone has any recommendations for some handlebars for a 2018 Indian scout bobber that would be very much appreciated.

The 2011 is useless

I personally love the addition of the 2011 in the boiling point update, but it’s truly infuriating having to flick the safety off every time I draw the weapon. In any real world situation officers going into a known area of threat will already have the safety off. What’s an even bigger reason it sucks to use this weapon is that a sidearm is meant to back you up in the event you run out of ammo in your primary weapon, or encounter a malfunction. Having that ability to swap your weapon and engage the target rapidly with your sidearm is crucial. There have been many cases in the game, or even other shooters where I’ve done this, and survived because the sidearm was ready to fire as soon as pulled it out. Void definitely needs to fix this issue on the gun especially since this is the only weapon in the game that I know of with this glaring issue.

What do you guys think is next at least setting wise? Personally I’d love to see a mafia game set in the 70s-80s a notable time period where we saw the mob in real life go from almost untouchable to a crumbling mess due to the RICO statute, and the overall federal crackdown on the Italian mob.
