Urgent

One of my friend(20M) went to Chennai early in the morning today for spending a day and night with her gf, but unfortunately forgot to apply for a leave.

Didn't told about this to his parents as well. Just now attendance happened, and the wardens are asking where's he, what to do now?

He's little panicked and wanted a suggestion/solution for this, so plz tell me what to do?

Want to enter this field with a Core background

Am from Mechanical background, currently in the 3rd yr of my college and want to enter into supply chain field. I see some posts in my day to day life on linkdin about people getting recruited into these fields but never got a reply from them. So can someone tell what are some specific or preferred skills one can develop being in mech for entering this field?

Also, how's the job market for those who wants to get into this with a similar education background?

Do analyst jobs still exist in today's market for people from non-tech backgrounds?

Am currently studying Mechanical Engineering, still left with 1 year for my graduation. And now it feels that I don't really want to work in this field, instead , want to work in the analytics side after exploring the SQL side. So do these jobs still exist for freshers in ample amount? Also am asking this because primarily I belong to a core branch, so won't it be much difficult for me to enter into one?

Regarding FFCS

Am a little panic person that's why asking, sorry if you feel it's a dumb ques. But when the ffcs will start tomorrow, we need to first select the 'Compulsory courses' option inside which we will have NGC, ACC and Cloud computing ryt? (Am in 5th sem)

After that we re allowed to take discipline core nd stuff in whatever order we want to isn't it?

I forgot about this thing that's why.

Tata steel

I recently got an opportunity to do an internship at Tata steel through one of my referral, the topic is pretty technical so am just told to make a ppt and submit it, and after that they will provide me with a completion certificate. So is it worth it?

I'll be doing some 2-4 days industry visit as well.

Am from a core branch, so my topic is like "how to check the feasibility of an equipment using some sensors, or any other tool".

Any experienced employee/intern can you plz give any insight bout this?

Battery issue

I have bought an HP victus, i-5 13th gen, ,3050 model recently, like just 3-4 days back. And the battery is draining really very fast, like whole day I just use a CAD software, and 1-2 applications simultaneously(like gpt, whatsapp etc).

And it goes from 100-0% within 2-2.5 hrs.

Is this normal for victus laptops? Or mine is draining wayy too fast, so it's a battery problem?
