So my friend is looking for an Android phone in the range of 85,000 to 100,000. From where can I get such a good budget phone and what are the shops in Colombo uyou suggest to get it from?

I’m looking to buy a tablet mainly for studying, reading PDFs, watching videos, browsing, and maybe some handwritten notes. My budget is roughly Rs. 100,000–130,000, but I’m trying to get the best value rather than just spending the most. Even used ones are okay

These are the options I’m currently considering:

​

1. Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE

​

Around Rs. 92k–100k from some shops. Seems like good value because of S Pen support, Samsung software, IP68, and decent long-term use.

​

2. Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE Wi-Fi 8GB/128GB

​

Around Rs. 120k–130k. More expensive, but newer and probably better long-term. I like that it has proper S Pen support.

3. Honor Pad X9a 8GB/256GB

   Around Rs. 112k brand new. Has more storage and a big screen, but I’m not sure about performance, software updates, and resale compared with Samsung.

4. iPad 10th gen / iPad A16

   I’m also considering iPads around this range. The issue is storage and Apple Pencil cost. A used iPad A16 was listed around Rs. 115k, but that seems close to new prices.

5. Used Samsung Tab S6 Lite / Tab A9

   I saw a used Tab S6 Lite for Rs. 80k and a used Tab A9 8/128 for Rs. 49k. Not sure if they are worth it, especially compared with spending a bit more for a new S9 FE.

My main questions:

- Is the Tab S9 FE the best value around 100k?

- Is it worth stretching to the Tab S10 FE?

- Would an iPad be better in this price range, or is 64GB too limiting?

- Are shops like eMobile, GQ Mobiles, Celltronics, LuxuryX, etc. reliable for warranty?

- Anything specific I should check before buying direct import / non-TRCSL / shop warranty units?

I’d appreciate advice from anyone who has bought a tablet recently in Sri Lanka, especially for studying and PDF/note-taking use.

I have a laptop from 2021 - Acer aspire 5 which needs to be serviced and some mechanical repair done as well. I don't want to go back to Khalids whom I went for previous services - coz of bad rep now and bad reviews and overpriced stuffs etc what's a good alternative to this ? Where can I get it done at reasonable cost + trusted peeps ?

Also does anyone know any good nutritionists or dieticians for a girl who wants to gain weight and has low bmi and anxiety etc preferably a lady who is good and patient and kind and nice ?

One of my 17 year old Muslim friends just told me that she wanted to get married by 19 or 20. Usually when my friends say they wanna get married, it’s because they have a boyfriend and they’re committed to them. This friend has never had a boyfriend in her whole life and doesn’t even seem interested in the idea of having one. She’s genuinely one of the prettiest girls I have ever seen so it’s really hard to believe that. When I asked her why she wanted to get married so young she said that it was because she gets to stay away from sinning. I didn’t really believe that because she sounded doubtful when she said it. The only problem she keeps telling me about is if she’ll find a guy who’s around the same age as her by the time she’s 19, to get married to. So how likely is that she’ll find a Muslim guy who looks equally as good as her, who’d be looking for someone to marry in 2 years, and will be around the age of 19-20 at that time?
