New camper here

I just found out about this show a couple of days before through tiktok edits and I am currently binging Season 1, this show looks great but how did it become forgotten and no one knows about it now? I can't find a good platform to stream this show other than prime.

Need advice

I’m an Indian American teenager about to go into junior year, and basically my story here is how he dropped a bombshell of stressful shit onto me yesterday and ruined my day. When he asked about what I thought about school starting on Monday, I said I wasn’t that much happy about it, a normal reaction from my age group plus the impending pressure of AP’s and college admissions, and of course the SAT I’m gonna take in October.

For some reason, he took this so seriously and later went on a lecture, and basically the point of that whole lecture is on how if you don’t study enough or not take studying seriously, you’re gonna end up homeless under a bridge, he’s been repeating this bullshit ever since I was a kid (6-7 years old), and he said that whenever I played around or appeared in his eyes to not take school serious, and then, he repeated the rigid expectation every Indian parent typically has (get into a “good” college, and by that he means the top colleges in my state, which is UGA / Tech I live in the state of Georgia, and get a 6 figure engineering / medicine / tech job, buy a house, have children, go to church, by the way he said go to church because my parents are Tamil Christians they’re not Hindu).

He then talked about other bullshit I’m not even ready for due to my age, like what I’m gonna do to pay the car loans and bills if I don’t have a high paying 6 figure job like what he expects me to get. Next, he was then talking about on how people with wage jobs struggle to pay the bills and used our barber we go to as an example, he then said because she told me she enjoyed high school and that I am gonna miss these times (which first of all I personally don’t agree with it and I don’t think I will since high school is not like her time years ago it’s fucking stressful as shit now, I don’t know why people older than me don’t understand that), that means she didn’t “study enough” and that she works as a barber right in her old age. He then started to use the fact I’m an only child against me, and what was perhaps the most overwhelming part of this entire lecture he kept on saying to me “what are you gonna do if we both die now, who are you gonna go to???”, you see I grew up without any siblings and at the same time I was very much an introvert and didn’t socialize that much, I made a few childhood friends in the Smyrna area before we moved to east Cobb so I had to leave all it behind, for some odd fucking reason my parents don’t count them as friends at all, and focus on how I need to make lots of friends where I live so I can “confess my personal things to them and compare myself to them so I can worker harder”, and my dad basically had that in mind when he said that dying scenario.

He then later asked why I didn’t pursue medicine, first of all my main interest is bioinformatics and I did not have interest in a career in being a doctor because of how hard it is and the life of the patient is basically in your hands, the years and difficulty of medical school and the debt that’s gonna come with it, and overall I just had a lack of interest in it. I basically told him that and then my dad rambled about how I should never get an “easy” job, he then said I might as well “live under the bridge” if I pursue that.

I am just overall extremely tired of all of this, it truly woke me up to how controlling Indian parents are, he basically views anything other than working extremely hard to the bone in a 6 figure corporate engineering company or becoming a doctor after graduating from an elite college as a moral failure, he says that I can “choose whichever career I want”, yet he contradicts himself by talking about engineering, and he wants me to get a master’s degree in Cambridge University in the UK, so he doesn’t want me to pick which college I go to as well.

If anyone here has any advice on how to deal with my declining mental health due to all this please let me know, I’m a literal teenager who has 2 years of me being a minor left before I become an adult, yet he’s treating me like I’m fucking 30, he can’t even let me be a teenager for these last 2 years left.

Tl:dr; I am extremely tired due to a lecture my Indian dad that happened yesterday, which started when I appeared not the fact my junior year of school is gonna start next Monday, which consisted of the narrative that if you don’t study extremely hard, get into a top elite college, and work extremely hard at a 6 figure corporate engineering job, or become a doctor, you failed in life and you are gonna work a wage job or become homeless
