Easy ways to clear one's hand?

I have accumulated a large amount of UP, but all of the resulting cards decrease it. Are there any convenient ways to discard these cards? The internet says leaving london (the Zee, Pickpocket's Promenade) do so, but the internet is wrong.

I'm telling you, we can revive the two types meta

Interestingly, everyone agrees there are these two types, but the exact line between them varies wildly.

Random, spoiler-heavy question about Ambitions

So, I've been doing Light Fingers, and it seems like I will (according to MF) be able to prevent the 4th City from being replaced. I happen to know that in the Heart's Desire ambition there is an option to save london from getting squished. Do all of the ambitions have a "save london" ending?

Oh god I just finished the first run

One of the paths I did is the stranger. I noticed that the path I took had 5 branches, which each had two polarizations. If we multiply that by the number of staircases, don't we get 30 endings?! Plus all of the dialogue inside of my cage, and...how much is in this game?!

EDIT: oh also it's an amazing game that somehow has realistic characters despite the absurdity of the context and so on and so forth. Figured that was a given but better safe than sorry.

Advice for an RP run?

I'm trying to run a nomad empire that is just kinda done with the raider thing. They have the technology and instincts for raiding, and like the nomadic lifestyle by now, but are just running from the Khan. In other words, diplomacy and waystations, with weapons for the worst case. Low tech. Any advice for this is appreciated.

My issue with the recent decision

It feels like requiring approval for all portrayals of characters as kids is an overstep. There are plenty of characters (lace, sherma, nuu, etc) who's age is unconfirmed. I get that it's been causing discourse because of the shipping, but they're no more real than the ships; it's all pure headcanon. A rule like 'no child portrayals in ship content' or 'posts portraying characters as children may be removed at the mod team's discretion' would be much more comfortable, I think. This just seems like it's going to hurt people who were totally unrelated to the discourse.

Good news!

You're about to have a lot of new users...a major poster got banned for 'harassing the mod team' on r/Silksong, so...

also I never noticed r3; may I congratulate the mod team on that compromise with the anti-spers and the silkposters?

Early game advice?

How do you remove Notoriety? I get rid of dread by getting Fascination and I get rid of Fascination by getting Dread, but I can't seem to figure out how to get rid of Notoriety (without high moth followers).

I'll accept pointers as to which direction to investigate, but please don't say 'just read'.

Question about rule 5

Does that rule mean that we shouldn't post if we find Blueberry in nsfw subs? Because if this sub is for finding Blueberry, we wouldn't really be posting content like that otherwise, right? Or am I misunderstanding smth

Don't get me wrong, it has a decent fanbase, but just around the average AAA game. It feels weird because the game just feels better than the really popular ones like elden ring and such. My running theory is that it's kind of generic? But even the tropey stuff it does really well. This goes doubly for HFW, which I feel like gets even less love. EDIT: Alright, this has been pretty thoroughly answered. Thanks for the info!
