I wanted to create my own version of the Scene; Sing, Sweet Nightingale.

Only it's my OC putting away books instead, she slips into a sort of Daydreaming daze. My favorite part of the scene was the Bubbles, the warm vibrant rainbow colors and angelic singing.

See I associate Water with Illusions, (cold water so to speak). See my character has a plant motif, so I can imagine plants slowly growing around her.

I can't explain it but, if you've seen that seen it's beautiful, and possibly one of the few bright moments in Cinderella's life she can find.

This mirrors my character She's in grey in a sense, guarded but during moments when she's alone and letting her walls down...she hums perhaps sings.

Blooming flowers I associate with her, a rose in a sense.

I can't describe the feeling, perhaps peace? Dissociation, relief? Calmness? Nostalgia?

I'm following my mom's advice in how I should make things my own instead of mimicking and trying to replicate it. All I can do is...Just ask for help.

So, how do I get that feeling? A feeling of comfort? So to speak

So, to start; Thank you for those who answered my regular post to tell me to watch the Anime, Thank you for answering my posts and ideas, giving me advice and commenting on my art.

I will be keeping this brief; When I heard the movie was coming in June I decided that my goal was to finish the anime first then movie...but that didn't end up happening.

You guys were right, watching the anime helped me understand better the ideas I wanted to explore inspired by Revolutionary Girl Utena.

Like one idea I had would be A character like Nanami and how she would deal in a fairytale like the 12 dancing princesses.

Or how I have two OCs in the world of Pokémon who are like Saionji and Touga..but that's a story for another time.

Anyway I'm gonna keep coming to this Reddit community, That's all I have to say. Besides this, I'm Off to see the Movie. Wish me luck

As it's one of the few things I haven't read up on I kinda kept myself in the dark (if by in the dark not watching the full movie, looking at the galleries too long in the empty movement) I'm REALLY looking forward to how they changed (if they have changed) the song; Absolute Destiny Apocalypse 😁

So, I finshed the black rose arc a while ago, now I'm in The Akio Ohtori Saga. I'm on Juri's episode, the last one; Azure Paler than the Sky...

Basically it's, painful as you get deeper. At first you see the roses in arc one, then you get to the thorns.. sharp and, the thing is when it's just a single one it doesn't her like it portrays yet as you get and more into it all, picking more roses you get more thorns...more cut, more bruised in understanding it all.

I need help with writing something, The earth(an oc) is finally getting a moment with the Moon alone, and I don't want it to be read the wrong way

See he firsts notices someone staying back; finding their hair down from it's usal bundled up style..The Moon has lost something she cares about..be distracted in her role as the Moon, a gift from a friend....that she looses her glow, but she tries not to show it

The Earth after a couple blows realizes it when seeing her shaking

The moon and earth have barely interacted. The earth goes and gets a coat Venus told him to get rid off. Before all of this He only notices things the other planets could not. He helps her calm down, joking with her...trying to make her laugh.

And in the end he helps her earnestly looking for what she lost.

the point is the moon has always been seen from others perspectives, the only one to see past that is her friend the ocean, yet the ocean doesn't have a clear view as they're busy right now. The Earth is drawn to them moon and has seen a different idea to them. So this is the point where the Earth sees the Moon being vulnerable.

I'm trying to go for a fairytale vibe, but Also to keep Moon's modesty, She wears glasses so you can't see her expression but the Earth sees everything, not her looks, but her actions. And right now her actions are saying I'm not okay.

Revolutionary Girl Utena deconstruction and explores the roles in a fairytale mainly princesses, princes, and witches. He's making assumptions at first but he cares, and that's what's important

So, I'm going to be publishing my comic called Darkside on June 30th; I'm nervous because...I don't have like character sheets down. I have a beginning, Middle, and End plan and it goes for four seasons.

It was an inspired by the powerpuff girls, the story is mainly about how people deal with the trauma and the events/challenges of life they've been handed. Another inspiration was Miraculous mainly the Akumas and how people used them to fix whatever mistake was made.

The villian are based on different villains I've read and watched about; They are in different shades of grey and such, Some will be redeemed, some won't. There are some Christian themes like sinning, Knowledge, and the Seven deadly sins/ heavenly virtues(They will be real actually real people or angels); I'm not leaning heavily towards Christianity stuff or anything more like just something I decided in.

Like I have my first main characters character arcs or at least understand what they'll be doing for the first season, The main character I just though will be Trying to beautify her city back to how it was, (Her character arc is learning to trust others/get control of her powers/letting go of the past)

I don't have character sheets (I have the main characters but not their friends, family, or villians).

The idea is the have the first half of the season one planned then the middle, and lastly the end (Which is broken up to a mid season finale).

I'm just nervous like; What if I screw up, with the representation, the story, it's themes, everything, like what if the girls seem out of character. Or if I'm moving the plot too fast. I think not having the designs down is playing a role in it.

I just wanted this to be for fun, something I had made with friends, It's also a slice of life so many filter episodes (Well not too many as they help give a look into the girls personality, the place they live, and their development.)

Hello, this is just a question; However to give it some context I have two ocs Based on the Earth and Moon; With the first being associated with how the earth can be a symbol of life and growth but also destruction and death. The latter is associated with the darkside of the Moon/A burned out galaxy/Cherub and sometimes floral life

I've always believed in the Moon and Earth to be lovers rather then the Sun and Moon, as The Moon effects the earth more.

See in context The dragon is the Earth, who slowly grows interested/enamored with the Moon. The Moon brings water to him or effects him; despite showing her darkness the dragon sticks by her he's seen her light and softness (Think Danny and Sawyer from Cats don't dance/Hercules and Meg from Disney's Hercules), He's protective of her and tries to help her out when she needs it or being pushed too far.

The Dragon was also inspired by DK and Bowser from Mario brothers, he blooms whenever she's near and he can't help it; The moon Loves flowers and has a garden of her own.

But in an AU he's leaned more into a Bowser/Ta Kā while also working as a Bodyguard. And the Moon she's well like a sliver having little light.

It's still a question in a sense; I just wanting to hear ya'll opinion

Hi so, this might be the wrong place to but it but I wanted to share my thoughts in explaining it more.

See in the TV tropes deconstruction it tells you again hurt people can REALLY hurt people. Which at first I thought yeah no duh but when taking a step back and thinking about it more; I think it also meant how hurt people can repeat the cycle of abuse they've been and start a new cycle with others. Hurting people unintentionally and intentionally

And part of the reason for this is because they're Hurting and have to find better ways of coping; but all those years in being in that abusive cycle takes time to grow out. Heck even I've done it in one of my angry moods (I've just kept it in)

I don't think it's ever spelled out properly until now at least in the way it needs to cause in one way it tells you that a person that has hurt you is also hurting but also as a warning to People that ARE hurting that you can/will repeat the cycle and other people will learn from you.

It is hard to find better ways to cope but there is a chance.

Hello, as you know me, I'm someone who's doing a small study if the Anime's art style; But there's one thing I'm having trouble with getting it right. To me it's a mix of Wavy to thick twists and unexpected curls, with the second being found in unexpected places and it feels Random, I've already accepted that I need to work on making things more fluid, My Anatomy, and more;

However my problem is that whenever I try to give someone a similar hair style to Anthy's when it's down it's not right, like not..that like it's rushed or just not right or any curl I do is too big. So can some of you guys describe Anthy's hair or give some tips on what I could do.

To be honest I use different pictures of Anthy to go off on and I'm pretty sure her hair is long enough to cover her body in a sense.

Hello, So I'm making a character for a comic that's still in the works and It's a bit complicated to explain without spoiling the idea is that her largest influence was both

Yumehara Chiyo and Teruhashi Kokomi combined maybe a bit of Kaguya from Love is war. Anyway the idea is that she's alot like Teruhashi's negative traits (A side note is I think Teruhashi is a bit complex; they say she's self aware which is understandable but how she THINKS and TREATS others is what rubs me the wrong way).

On the other hand I LOVE Chiyo cause like her I love love as well, plus it's fun to see her in some episodes; However that doesn't mean I'm blind to Chiyo's faults and while yes I can understand Chiyo is a teenager but that doesn't excuse it. Besides that I do have a guilty pleasure of female characters doing wacky high jinx to spend time with their crush (Marinette does not count BTW although the balls still in the court, I get that stalking is wrong and so many other things)

So they idea is while she's LIKE Chiyo she's also like Teruhashi. However I just want to hear your guys opinion on these two, as to me they feel complex in a way when looking deeper into their characters. I get it's a gag comic but still I can't help but analyze anything that interest me.

So what's your guys perspective on these two gals, what do you like and dislike about them, their flaws etc.
