I read someone’s opinion online that despite the shame and social expectations of the time—given that brides were often younger than their husbands, it’s possible that Phaedra is ironically closer to Hippolytus’ age (and thus maturity and psychology I guess?) than her actual husband’s.
Are there any details to confirm or deny that?

Hi, I’m interested in worshipping/offering/praying to a god for mental health issues. The goal is eventually professional therapy, to be clear/safe, but right now I want some spiritual help and strength for working on myself. Major TW for mental health and trauma-related things included but not limited to:SA, misogyny, identity issues.
I’m a woman who has dealt with misogyny, sexual related violence, grooming and humiliation and abuse. Also religious trauma from being a Christian household (which was also an alt-right household but let me not get into that. ) I have internalized sexism I need to work through and huge self esteem issues, tbh. I love and care about women’s rights, however.
I also want to be married some day but I have a lot of relationship trauma and have a hard time not fearing/t men. This has lead to chronic emptiness and I feel like I lack an identity. I just think I’m missing something that keeps me from being a “whole” person. Related or not, I have a need for validation and desperately wish to have a loving partner anyway. So when things aren’t going well, I feel severe abandonment and anxiety and anger issues. I feel like I spiral and can’t control myself. Break ups and getting ditched have led to suicide attempts. I’m sorry this is a lot. I just want some courage and a little spirit team for support while I do the heavy lifting and face my metaphorical demons. Thank you for your time!

Ok I’m sorry if this is stupid or basic question but—where did the Minoans end and begin? I noticed Minoan clothing and artistic expressions get shown in people’s depictions of the Bronze Age, but when I search if the Minoans ARE Greeks, it says they’re an older culture separate and distinct from the Greeks. For example, I’ll hear something like “X myth is actually not Greek, it’s Minoan. “
I searched if the Minoans worshipped Greek gods and one of the top answers was yes, then again one said they had their own gods but are now mostly lost to time. It also said the Minoans were more so Matriarchal than the Greeks and Romans. So I’m confused. Asking for structure and clarification if anyone can help :)

We all know about the trials of Hercules (except at the end when he marries Hebe and things get good) but what about her positive or less bad relationships with Zeus’s kids? Hera has negative relationships with Artemis and Apollo, but I know she helped Perseus out a few times and didn’t mind him. I’ve HEARD she likes Hermes too but I’d love more info.
