Hi I have a display problem on my Cbox ally X screen in steamOs. The display does not take the full screen, I have bezel inside my screen. Any one know how to fix this ? Changing the interface size does nothing :/
I was so impatient for the official release before jumping into the game ! I was planing playing solo but some of my friend told me that I will miss content like end game raid that can’t be made in solo. Is it true ? Is there Pal I can’t catch if I play solo ? Is it possible to join people with my full crew to do raid and do the rest solo ?

Je suis actuellement ingénieur R&D dans un grande boite de microélectronique dans laquelle je ne me sens pas bien (atmosphère d'entreprise, éthique, intérêt pour mon métier) et j'ai comme projet d'entamer une reconversion (lourde je vous le concède) en tant que kinésithérapeute. Je peux intégrer le processus de formations sans passer par la première année PACES/STAPS avec une admission sur dossier et il me faut donc un dossier béton (3 admis sur 100 postulants).
Mon dossier actuel (j'ai 31 ans si jamais ça compte) :
Doctorat en physique (nanoscience), diplôme d'ingénieur
Langue maîtrisées : Français et anglais
4 ans de CDI en tant qu'ingénieur R&D
J'ai comme projet de faire 2 courts stages de quelques jours chez des kiné pour confirmer que le métier me plait et voir différentes méthodes de travail.
Mais comme la sélection est rude j'aimerais avoir votre avis sur comment solidifier mon dossier ? Qu'est ce qui pourrais m'aider pour l'admission ?
Je prends évidemment avec plaisir toutes vos idées/opinions ! C'est vraiment un très beau métier dans lequel je sais que je m'épanouirais donc je suis motivé à fond !

Here is quite a long post on some testing of upscaling method Auto super resolution and FSR on the Xbox Ally X.
I have done some testing on the upscaling method ASR and fsr and wanted to share my result for people interested in the results. Major part of the testing are on Cyberpunk 2077 (CP2077). I choose this game because of the benchmark in game (so it easy to reproduce my tests) and because it is generally tested by youtuber so it is easier to compare with their results.
Auto Super Resolution (ASR):
I mainly try it on two games : Avowed and CP2077. You can toggle it in windows display widget (windows buton on controller) when you are docked and the resolution of your game is set between 700p and 900p. It use the built in NPU that will consume 1W of your TDP. When you activate it your resolution will be "upscale" to the resolution of your monitor. This will result in a sharper image but also a drop in fps (around15-20% in my tests). It is important to notice that it almost doesn't matter to with resolution your are upscaling to, the drop in fps is the almost the same if you are upscaling to 1080p, 1440p or 2160p. Here are some exemple of the effect of ASR :
Avowed (900p to 2160p) :
For Avowed, in the area I was playing, the fps drop from 46fps to 40fps so around 13% drop. It is important to notice that this drop is higher than the drop corresponding to a loose of 1W attributed to the NPU (TDP was set to 35W).
Comparison with Fidelity Super Resolution (FSR) :
The test here are for CP2077, I try different upscaling method and both report the fps benchmark result and also in game render for a good idea of what we get. Here is the small table of my result :
Native, FSR and ASR fps comparison
When it is writen FSR_ASR in upscaling it means that I cumulate both technologie. In those case I wrote 720p in resolution because it is what is set in game but it actually upscale to 1440p (therefor writen in bracket). FSR is always set to performance.
On average ASR drop the fps by 20% and when you upscal using FSR 3 or 2, you get the same fps using FSR or ASR (36 VS 37). FSR 2 and 3 almost give the same fps in the same configuration (54 VS 57). It is however good to notice that FSR4 is way mor taxing than FSR3. I almost get the same fps in native or with FSR4 set to performance (48fps VS 49.5fps).
Here are the link to some comparaison in terms of images (looking at numbers on doors show you how details are treated) :
ASR(720p to 1440p) VS Native 1440p
FSR4 (720p to 1440p) VS Native 1440p
Conclusion :
First, I think ASR should be see as a sharpening tool rather than an upscaling mehtod like FSR. When you look at the images you see that it actually sharpend the details that we already have when FSR actually get more details. The performance of ASR is really only superior to FSR for 2160p and in the case it is actually a great experience (it was the case for Avowed). For other resolution, like the 1080p of our XBox Ally X screen, I think fsr is superior at the moment. If they managed to improve the cost of ASR it could be really nice for people that play dock.
Second, FSR4 should be coming in July for us. We can use it right now thanks to a leak months ago. However, the implementation right now seems barely worth it as we mearely gain any fps using it (at least in my test in CP2077). If the integration of July cost less fps it could be a really great boost for our devices.
I hope this little study is clear and I hope it helps people that are interested in the subject. I have also have some test of Windows VS Bazzite VS Steam OS if some people are interested.

I have install dual boot windows/bazzite on my xax and after few months of testing I want to delete the bazzite partition to only keep the windows one. Any idea of how to do it ? (I want to avoid to go through a fresh windows install)
