Just got the ick

Just got the ick

This guy doesn't like it when I do my hair. This is not the first time we're having a discussion about my hair and I've told him so many times that the reason why I like braiding it is bc it's really hard to maintain.

It's a long distance relationship and the last time he was in Kenya, he didn't want me wearing any makeup or get my hair done. We went on a couple of dates to fancy restaurants and I never felt so out of place: hair that had just been washed, no styling, no make up and jeans with a baggy tee 😭. He told me that he likes girls in their natural state 💀

We're seeing each other next week and I'm not so sure about it anymore. I don't want to constantly feel insecure.

Ox liver

A bit low-effort today.

Ox liver marinated in onion, ginger and garlic powder, paprika and cayenne pepper then added some spring onions on top.

Paypal account deactivated

I've never used paypal to send or receive money, always preferred other options even before we could get to paypal. Yesterday, someone sent me money and when I tried to receive it, it was immediately returned to the sender. I got an email from PayPal asking me to upload a photo ID bc my account was limited. I uploaded the photo and my account was immediately permanently deactivated!

Lunch plate vs ate

Mashed potatoes + pumpkin, beans mixed with amaranth and pumpkin leaves and boiled eggs.

EDIT: I just want to say thank you to everyone who said the food looks good 😊 since it's late over here and I won't be able to reply to every comment. I've been lurking on this sub for quite a while saving posts of foods that I want to make for my baby but most of them are either unavailable in my country or too expensive. So having people say that the food that I spent practically nothing on looks good and healthy makes me truly overwhelmed.

I got the pumpkin, the beans and greens from our little shamba (garden) and concocted a nice little meal that people seem to like. I'm truly honored. THANKS Y'ALL and GOODNIGHT:)

Straight from the farm to your kitchen!

I really wanted yellow bell peppers. For comparison, the last photo is what we harvested last week.
