[Question] Control Center stutters when Music HyperIsland is showing (POCO X8 Pro, HyperOS 3.0.307.0)

Been noticing some weird lag on my POCO X8 Pro (8/512, HyperOS 3.0.307.0) and wondering if it's just me.

The main one is the Music HyperIsland.

Whenever it's showing, pulling down Control Center gets choppy.

The animation hitches and sometimes freezes for a sec. Without the island it's totally smooth. I tried it a bunch of times and it happens every time.

Separate issue: Apps → Show all apps sometimes stutters when I open it. Not every time, just randomly.

Everything else runs great, so it's kinda annoying on a phone this fast 😭 I do have a custom theme on, so that could be it, but I'm not sure.

Has anyone else seen either of these on HyperOS 3?

[675$ - 750$] Lebanon - Acer Swift 14 (Ultra 7 155H) vs. Aspire 14 (Ultra 5 226V) - Which for Uni & Rust?

Hey everyone,

I’m currently looking for a reliable laptop for university (CS/Coding) that can handle some occasional gaming. I've narrowed it down to two options available in my local market.

LAPTOP QUESTIONNAIRE

Country: Lebanon

Budget: 675$ - 750$ USD

Are you open to refurbs/used options? Yes (Considering refurbished Swift 14)

Screen size: 14"

Weight limit: Any

Purpose: University work (coding), entertainment, and gaming

Form factor: Standard/Clamshell

Intended usage: Heavy multitasking (VSCode, multiple browser tabs, lecture videos). For gaming, I don't need 4K or high graphics; I'm perfectly happy with 1080p at Ultra Low settings if it hits a stable 60 FPS. I won't be gaming on campus, just at home.

Desired battery life: As long as possible for university lectures.

Priority: Performance > Battery life > Weight > Size

Info/Requirements: I need a device that is durable enough to last through university years and can handle demanding titles without severe thermal throttling

My DILEMMA

I’m torn between both. Is the Swift's 'H' series processor worth the extra 75$ for better sustained performance, or is the newer Lunar Lake chip in the Aspire efficient enough for my needs?

Any advice on which model would offer better longevity and handle my gaming requirements more reliably would be greatly appreciated
