Hello
I find it very sad that you are no longer in my life
But I will now block you for my own peace of mind.
Goodbye and take care.
Not wild carrot. Hemlock? Something else?
taken in southern Sweden by a ditch. stem seems hairless with reddish discoloration further down though not in spots. no ”beard” or ”dress” underneath flowers, no purple flower in the middle. what could it be?
not going to forage it or even touch it, just curious
Found this extremely deadly by fascinating guy
if you see it do not touch and by all means do not consume
this is cicuta virosa, or water hemlock as I think it is called in English. contains a very deadly poison called cicutoxin, just a small bite can kill you and all parts of the plant are dangerous. it’s easy to mistake for edible plants in the same family and supposedly tastes well, which is another reason why it’s so devious. it is best observed from a distance.
