My uncle passed and his house was placed in a trust. The market value was roughly $1.6 million. After a year, the trust sold the house for $1.2 million. THE NEXT DAY it sold again for $1.4 million. Two days later, it sold AGAIN for $1.6 million. Does this seem fishy?

The trust sat on the house for a year and sold it for 75% of market value. It was immediately flipped twice for multiple six-figure profits.

Does this raise any red flags?

Thanks!

I live in the Twin Cities and need to buy a thick special-occasion ribeye to grill at home. What's the best source? Hy-Vee? Kowalski's? Lunds/Byerlys? Or other?

Money is no object for this occasion. Thank you!

Brought car to mechanic for oil change. Mechanic says oil drain plug is stripped. He says I need a new oil pan. Almost $500. He also did the previous oil change and he reported no issues at that time. Seems to me that he's the one who stripped it during the previous oil change.

Should the mechanic take responsibility and replace the damaged oil pan for free? What are my options? Thank you!

My acceptance rate is usually between 35% and 39%. Today I accepted my first four offers. Then I declined the fifth offer and the app asked "Are you sure you want to decline this offer? It lowers acceptance rate from 39% to 38%."

Of those five orders, my acceptance rate was 80% but the app claims that 80% will LOWER my acceptance rate.

Is this happening to anyone else?
