FWD Appreciation Post

It takes a special kind of person to have both the patience and precision to enjoy racing FWD cars, but once you learn how to tune them and race them then you become “addictive to the difference” and that in itself is something that you can be proud of once you set a record lap with a FWD versus the overpowered “do it all” AWD.

Sometimes it isn’t about the livery..

Sometimes it isn’t about the livery, the color alone can carry a car’s beauty. All of these are custom metallic colors and I think they turned out amazing. Maybe adding a few small stickers here and there, but no over the top extravagant liveries needed for the cars to be beautiful. Yes, I cheated a little bit on the last one, but I think it helps to get my point across for all those that can’t make liveries and still want to be able to make cool looking photos in the game.

I’ll be making a post featuring all the custom colors that I’ve used so that you can use them yourself. I’m making the post because the old Forza Horizon 5 color sheet doesn’t fit too well with FH6’s current coloring model.

Which car is your favorite?

FH6 Color Graph - 5 Shades per Color

Hello everyone! Since the Forza Horizon 5 Color Graph doesn’t work well with Forza Horizon 6’s color grading I put together some color shades and even some other ones that I think other people will like. As I put more together then I’ll edit the post and add them. If you want a certain paintjob added then let me know in the comments and I’ll do my best to put it together. These colors are simply shades of colors. OEM paintjobs can be added at a later date or a separate post will be made. Please upvote so others can enjoy the colors and if the Moderators want they can pin the post.

Instructions: Go to the color chart, select Metallic, then fine tune and enter the numbers. All paintjobs use the Metallic HSB graph unless otherwise specified.

All colors go from the lightest shade to their darkest shade. If I’ve made any mistakes please let me know and I’ll update it.

👋 Hello again! If anyone wants to help me with turning this into a Google Docs file then please let me know. I’ve never made nor messed with Google Doc. Either way and/or otherwise I will be update this post for others to enjoy.

How do I enter the PvE Dark Zone?

Ignore my stupidity, I’m new (kinda)

I casually play The Division games and only recently made a TD2 save. I see the trailer and I thought they had PvE Dark Zones, but I couldn’t find them so I thought all Dark Zones were PvE now and as soon as I entered the Dark Zone for the first time I was killed by another player within the first few minutes. Again, I’m new and never played the Dark Zones before. Don’t really care much for PvP in these types of games.

Any guess on my favorite car manufacturer is?

Maybe it’s because I was raised up in the late 90s and early 2000s, but I absolutely love the sound of Datsun and the crap box muffler sound, boxy style, and underdog persona they have.

Anyone wanna recreate this iconic livery?

A group of guys have these liveries in Tennessee. They look almost just like the Tennessee State Trooper livery, but it says “Takeover Patrol” and when I met them they were chill dudes.

LS6 lost in Japan!

For a long time I was a Mustang Fanboy, that was until I got older and wiser and fell in love with the C5 Corvette. I still love my Foxbody Mustangs, but nothing comes close to the rumble of a C5.

Taking this raw muscle down the curvy roads of Japan is an experience nonetheless, but worth it!

Not a big mobile gamer but..

The only mobile game I’ve played has been Call of Duty mobile and Hashiriya Drift. I play Forza on my Xbox, but this subreddit has been popping up on my feed a lot and it’s intrigued me.

What game could you compared this game to?

Is it worth it to play as a casual player?

Is it online only or can I play single player?

Do I need to be a whale/big spender to enjoy it?

I’m asking these questions because I wanna see if it’s worth my time or if I should just continue to upvote all the cool builds posted here.

These are delicious!

I seen then today and picked them up after being on a Nerds Cluster binge and WOW! They actually taste good and don’t taste like chemicals like some gummy candy does.

Also, for those that care (not me) they are Vegan and Gluten Free.

Like the title says I’m just a filthy casual that likes to chill and drift. Can I make money by just drifting outside of PvP? That’s my main concern. I bought and played CarX Street, but I’ll be honest the bots on that game even on easy mode were kicking my tail. My birthday is coming up in May and I was going to buy myself an early birthday present. I mainly just want to chill and drift, I’m not a hardcore PvP racer sweat lord that wins all the time. Should I bother?

Gotta say.. you all really make this game look appealing from the liveries and clips. This subreddit has been popping up in my feed a lot lately and I had to check it out.

This track is a technical, yet flowing track with a ton of replayability. It allows the racers to master their racing lines while still making good money doing it. The track itself has been inspired by both the Nurgburgring and Morocco tracks so I kept the overall flow of the track as realistic as possible with the limitations of Track Forge. For example, the uphill sections are made to limit the speed so you don’t have to hard brake before going into the upcoming curve sections.

The race itself only takes about 14 minutes to complete, but I set the timer to 20 minutes just to help with prepping laps and to account for any mistakes since playtime is crucial.

Laps: 3

Time Duration per Lap: ~5mins

Car Category: Racing

Race Payout: ~$75,000

⚠️ Please give me any feedback and*** be sure to like/crush like in gam***e to give the track more traction in the algorithm. Also, the car I used in this race didn’t have any gold parts with bucks.

🚗 Currently working on a Supercar, Street Tier 2, and Bikes only track. Again it will have a realistic flow as well.
