Punctuation,?

I just saw the post for a Gallifrey Falls No More tattoo, and it got me wondering does Gallifreyan use punctuation? I was mis‐remembering what the Curator tells 11. I thought it was "No its not Gallifrey Falls No More, its Gallifrey Falls, No More" but he says the first part of my misquote not the 2nd.

Who is The Law?

This is what Judge Joe "I Am The Law" Dredd, looked like in his 1st ever appearance, in 2000 A.D. Programme 2 dateline 5th March '77. He's lanky (tall & thin) and guant (very narrow face with pointed chin, spinedly neck and protruding adams apple).

He looks nothing like either Sly Stalone or Karl Urban.

For me, if its an existing character who's image is known, like Wolverine, or Judge Dredd then the actors should physically resemble the characters they are playing, e.g. Wolvie is only [5' 2"](https://characterprofile.fandom.com/wiki/Wolverine) not Hugh Jackmans 6' 2". Based on these images of Dredd there's three actors I think should have played him instead of Stalone & Urban.

They are:-

[John Gordon Sinclair](https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0329947/?ref\_=ext\_shr\_lnk) star of [Gregory's Girl](https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0329947/?ref\_=ext\_shr\_lnk)

[Peter Capaldi](https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0134922/?ref\_=ext\_shr\_lnk) the [Twelfth Doctor](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0436992/?ref\_=nm\_knf\_t\_1)

[Richard E. Grant](https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001290/?ref\_=ext\_shr\_lnk) [Rise of Skywalker](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2527338/?ref\_=ext\_shr\_lnk)'s General Pryde

Tell me though, who would you cast instead of them in their respective films?

What's Everyone Reading This Week?

Ok, I normally wait for u/Fabulous-Confussion43 to post this, but today, I decided I couldn't.

I'm still reading 2000AD. I started this morning on "Prog" 2041. Yep, I managed to read 40 issuses in 7 days. Since there's 493 total issuses currently available (increasing by 1 weekly) at that rate, I think I'll have caught up in 12 weeks.

If anyone knows where I can read the first 2000 issues of 2000 AD for free please message me.

Hypothetical Retrospective Diplomatic Immunity.

A scenario popped into my head this morning, that left me wondering if it was legal under Scots, English, Northern Irish or International laws.

Two American citizens on holiday (who don’t have diplomatic immunity prior arrival) to anywhere in the UK, attempt to rob a bank and kill a teller. They are arrested and jailed while awaiting trial.

The trial starts and it is obviously a media circus. The accused are found to be proud MAGA’s (they were wearing “Trump '28” & “Trump 4th Terms a Charm” t-shirts & MAGA hats when they committed the crimes). The totally fair and sane current P.O.T.U.S. decides this is unfair and decides they deserve Diplomatic Immunity, so he sends them Diplomatic Passports and declares they must be freed.

My questions are…

  1. If he did this, would it be legal?

  2. If he did this would the trial be stopped?

  3. If he did this would they be released?

  4. If they were released, would they be allowed to remain in the Country?

  5. Would the response differ depending on where the crimes took place, e.g. Glasgow vs Belfast, Manchester or Cardiff?
