What is this phenomenon called?

I vividly remember watching a documentary about this when I was a kid, but I have no idea what it was actually about.

It was a large yellow blob, stringy and slimy like the pulp of a pumpkin. It was swarmed by lots of small silver fishes as it sunk, and I think they were either eating or laying eggs in it. I explicitly remember some got stuck as the mass sunk right into the abyss.

Draugr name in runes?

I am doing a series of art pieces based on different mythological beings, and I often write their names using both the Latin alphabet and the script of the culture they originate from.

In the case of the Draugr, I am unsure if it would be historically correct to depict their name using Norse Runes (and I certainly don’t know what specific system would be the most accurate)
