This one is another Ruth Wilshaw tutorial from her Get Gouachey that I finished today. It took me a couple of sittings to finish and maybe like 4hrs total?

It isn’t exactly like hers but it’s definitely fun enough that I’m going to hang it in the kitchen ☺️

I was just scrolling Pinterest for a pose I hadn’t tried before and found this picture and started drawing, and then as I was going, I realised that it was AI! She has six fingers on one hand and is missing the bottom of one of shoes 😆 so, I didn’t set to de-slop this one but here we are!

I’m not much one for cars /motorbikes but my step son is and I wanted to at least attempt a bookmark for his birthday.

I was wondering if anyone here knows where I might be able to organise getting this hole fixed?

Charlie has been the fixture at my workplace for at least … 15 -20 years and she’s looking a bit worse for wear, but we haven’t the foggiest as to where we could take her for a spa day.

I don’t suppose anyone in the community here would have a suggestion on that sort of thing?

Gave one of her beginner tutorials a go and pretty pleased with how it turned out 💜☺️

I didn’t use a reference image this time and overall think it didn’t turn out very well, but it’s not terrible. It’s just a kinda boring composition. However, I was working on planning out my layers a lot more this time and I’m pleased with how that aspect turned out!

I saw something similar to this on Pinterest but I can’t find the reference photo again 😅. I’m trying my hand at some more illustration style pictures. Still have a ways to go but this one is going on the fridge ☺️.

It’s 4am in Australia but I dragged myself out of bed to attend because I am a glutton for punishment. Really glad I did because it was a lovely way to start the day 🩷

Now I just need some of our famous Australia coffee to help me stumble through work today.

I’ve still got a long way to go before I can really knock this out of the park, but I love Lena and I wanted to try drawing her in my sketchbook.

I used a reference image off Pinterest.

I didn’t follow any tutorials, but I saw one of her reels on instagram talking about just painting the background and then seeing what the page wanted to do and so I gave this a go. I think it’s ok! Boy is painting a tricky thing to do well though 😅🙈

Nothing too exciting really, but I had fun and liked how they turned out ☺️

I’m trying to paint a bunch of cherries and improve them because they are the favourite fruit of a friend of mine and I want to paint them some cherries for fun. They started to look like red blobs to me by the end but I think I like these little blobs 🤣

This was a mix of a Pinterest photo inspo, and then from imagination - my page refreshed early on and so I just winged it after that 😳.
I also decided to try experimenting with some of the ohuhu markers for colouring. I’ve only used the markers maybe 4 times so I’m still really just experimenting and trying to learn with them.

I’m pretty sure I should just draw a bunch of fruit with them next since that seems to be what everyone else does 😆

Well… her feet and her cat 😆. I definitely need to do some anatomy studies on feet and ankles. But if you have any suggestions or tips on how I could have improved this I’d be very grateful to hear them 😊

There’s a little voice in the back of my head that tells me that my characters/drawings are really immature and so I need to “fix” them😅 and I’m also just trying to reassure myself that it’s ok to draw them how I draw them and the only thing that needs work is technical skills and not my taste in art🙈
