Why am I so bad at sustained tracking compared to point and click
I've just started kovaaks recently, Marvel Rivals is my main game so I've been grinding almost exclusively the Marvel Rivals Benchmark playlist
On the first 2 challenges I can get (imo) pretty impressive scores. On TrapClicking Marvel Rivals Adapt I'm in the top 1% of score with rank 191 out of 17,575, similarly in the next challenge in the top 1.6% on PulseShot Marvel Rivals Adapt. Both of these are of the "click on the target ball once and it disappears" variety
But then on the next challenge (TargetTransfer Marvel Rivals Adapt) where you have to continuously track single targets with health bars the wheels completely fall off and I can't even get into the top 35% of scores. I'm not really sure why there's such a big difference and how to improve, I can post VODs if needed but I was just wondering if there's any easy explanation for the skill I need to work on that could help close this gap

I do not care how shit this hero is in organized play, it is so miserable to play against in ranked. I slowed down the clip to check, I am first damaged at 5.077 seconds, dead at 5.506 seconds. Quite literally less than a half of a second TTK

I actually loved this moment lol
Even tho it was obviously a funny production goof, I thought it was cool that the casters are seemingly just as passionate and excited to talk about the games behind the scenes as they are when the mics are on, they clearly are just really fans of the game and love watching it & I think that shows in the broadcast. Rivals is the first esport I’ve gotten into as a spectator and the casters have played a big part of making it so fun to watch. Like some of them are genuinely more entertaining to listen to than some NBA/NFL broadcasters lmao. Caster appreciation post I guess

is 1-3-1 grip really putting myself at a disadvantage when it comes to improving aim
I’ve used 1-3-1 grip (index finger on left click, middle finger on scroll, ring finger on right click) for as long as I can remember as it’s the most comfortable for me in games and because of my binds, but I’ve heard you get more control for aim on a standard 1-2-2 grip. Am I hurting my aim improvement potential a lot or is it moreso just a preference thing?

looking for recommendations for a good quality deskpad
I’ve been using a plain black one from Amazon and it’s fine but I can tell the quality isn’t the best and it’s starting to get a bit worn, what are the best quality brands to get a full size deskpad from? not on a strict budget as long as it’s not too crazy, my mouse is the Terra pro if that matters for selection

why did Gale and Cal even swap roles
what’s the goal? like yeah Gale is capable on support but he’s obviously the better DPS player, why are we putting him on support just for cal to go 18-15 playing hardcore mystery heroes. obviously TSM has problems beyond this but I don’t understand the thought process behind this switch
