Where is the positive support of moderation?

Why are people here pushing for anything other than moderation? There is already a dedicated active sub for full-on quitting. Clearly people who are coming here need some support and validation for their issues, otherwise why else would they be coming here and not the other sub?

I made a post about a moderation strategy that worked for me, and what dispensaries can do for make it easier for people like me. It was just a thought I had that could make my life easier.

I've had someone tell me "you're too far gone past moderation if you can't control your urges". What???We're all addicts here who want a healthy(ier) relationship with weed, we wouldn't be here if we weren't. We're all in this same boat together. Let's show some support to each other instead of invalidating people's lived experiences.

Dispensaries need more single-dose servings

My best bouts of moderation come when I maintain 0 equipment (no grinder, papers, glass) and 0 stash - only buying weed when I need it. If I want to smoke everyday, I make mysef drive to the dispensary everyday. I will NOT buy in bulk and make it easier for my addiction.

Except basically every dispensary only has these options for small quantities that 0 equipment.

- 100mg edible pack (lasts 3-5 days with my preferred dosing, also hits way too hard sometimes)

- 0.5g disposable vape (lasts 3-7 days with my preferred dosing, also too convenient)

- 0.5g/1g preroll (my best consumption method for moderation - lasts 1 day, forces me to go outside due to smell, effects wears off after a few hours. But the smell is the biggest detriment for my family)

I'm sure companies can make higher margins on single dose products and pump out a ton of volume transactions too.

I would like to see more 20-30mg edible packs and 0.2g/0.3g vape sizes. I don't mind paying the extra per gram if it means smaller serving sizes.

edit: Perhaps I did not articulate myself clearly in this post for someone to think keeping 3-4 servings of edibles on hand is the obvious solution. My goal is to reduce usage over consecutive days, and I supplement that by having 0 weed on hand at all times, only buying single dose servings when I need it. I would like to see more variety of single dose servings at dispensaries, rather than relying on my self control to ration the products myself and not consume them on impulse.

420 friendly buddies in BK/Chinatown?

Hey everyone, I'm 24m and moved to Sunset Park recently right along the DNR.

I'm really passionate about my work (tech), working out, and casual gaming. I used to be big on making beats/edm. Not into bars or party scenes with loud music.

I enjoy smoking weed, walking around new areas, new disepensaries, etc. I'm a big introvert but since moving here, I'm spontaeneous and ready to go out!

Maybe today isn't the best day to go out considering the air index, but I'm free this weekend! Who's down to rip some carts and do whatever?

Hey everyone, I'm 24m and moved to nyc recently! I actually live in Sunset Park but it's a quiet neighborhood, at least there seems to be more life around south slope!
