Help bury my mom
My mother passed away unexpectedly at home. When I called 911, paramedics and two officers arrived and found her on the side of the bed in a small space. An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow to help us understand what happened. Our family is struggling to cope with this sudden loss, and we did not have life insurance to help cover the costs.
We want to give my mom a decent funeral and burial, but we are on a tight budget. Our household supports three orphans and three teens, and we do not receive any government assistance or supplemental aid. The funds raised will help with funeral and burial expenses, including the coffin, flowers, obituaries, a minister for the eulogy, and transport costs to her home city where most of our family lives. Your support will make a meaningful difference for our family during this difficult time.

Didn’t think this would be so popular, but I’m glad to see I didn’t overreact.
I felt bad because I’m not the type to fly off the handle and cuss my partner out. We have a mutual respect for each other, and typically, if I get really upset or he does we take some time apart to avoid saying things we don’t mean, then calmly discuss it later. That’s why I was wondering if I should apologize. But, to be honest, I didn’t say anything I didn’t mean, so…
Some people asked if he said that because I talk to the baby in a baby voice. No. I’m personally not a fan of baby talk. He said that because every time the baby cries, I stop what I’m doing to go check on him, figure out what’s wrong, fix it, comfort him, and put him back to sleep which I 100% feel like I should.
So yeah, I kind of crashed out. He threw his breakfast away and left looking like he was about to cry, so I felt kind of bad. He still hasn’t come back, called, texted, or anything. I haven’t called or texted him either. I’ve been here babying my baby and getting sleep when he sleeps.
When he gets back, I’ll calmly try to explain that that’s not the way to do things and reiterate the fact that he’s a baby. If he’s still stuck on being a moron, I’m gonna call his mom and have her straighten him out, because I’ve only got one son, and he’s my top priority.
He’s 27, by the way. And yes, the pregnancy was an accident, but when we found out, we both mutually agreed to keep the baby. While I was terrified and sobbing, he was very excited, comforting, and so sure about everything, which made me feel a lot less uneasy.
Just clarifying because I’ve seen some comments assuming he’s some young, late-teens/early-20s dad whom I forced a baby on. He’s a grown-ass man who wanted nothing more than to bring this baby into the world.

It’s tiiiiiiime 😬
Woke up at 10am to 2 big gushes, thought I’d peed myself. got up went to pee stood up after and kept dripping water, changed underwear and pants woke my partner up and soaked through those too
Went to labor and delivery they did the exam to see if my water had broke using a PH strip, apparently it was supposed to turn blue if it had broken but it turned green and they don’t know what that means?
They checked under a microscope and said if it was broken it’d be covered in crystals, there were some crystals but not as much as there should be.
Then they did an ultrasound to see how much fluid was around baby and there was just 1 pocket that was about 4cm which they said isn’t bad but there definitely should’ve been more pockets.
So with everything being kind of 50/50 unsure they decided they’ll just keep me because it’s more safe and that if it come to it they’ll just break that last pocket since I’m already 38 weeks which is technically full term.
I’m so nervous and the fact that they couldn’t tell me straight forward rather my water broke or not is concerning but I’m also really excited that it’s finally happening!

Am I overreacting? 😬
Went to my OB appointment yesterday and let the dr know I had been having a crazy amount of discharge and I wanted to make sure I wasn’t leaking so she checks and she’s like “oh yeah I see what you mean by the discharge” she took a little sample and said she’d test it and told me I most likely had BV and it was common for pregnant people so after I went on about my day, went to work when I got home from my 8 hour shift my underwear were soaked as if I peed myself so I instantly became worried but got in the shower and tried to brush it off because she seemed so sure about it being BV and I’ve never had BV before so just thought it was a symptom then this morning my mychart shows no BV detected and everything else they tested for came back negative as well so I’m wondering if I should go back to the hospital? Or would that be overreacting?I’ve been monitoring it and put on fresh underwear before work which started about 4 hours ago and there’s already a good amount of discharge I’m worried by the time my shift ends it’ll be like yesterday as if I peed myself idk what I should do 🥲 my boyfriend and sister seems to think it’s not a big deal, my mom thinks my water is leaking I called OB nurse hotline they said they recommend I come get checked but it feels like they have to say that so yeah
