Just completed unsouled finally in 5 days, it was okay only got little interesting after Suriel came, Yurien was average till now
Will give it 4/10
Didn’t have that much hype moment, the only thing that i truly liked was the interaction between Surion and Lindon
Action was okay, the power system is still totally confusion, lets see how it go ahead
Here my review till now the starting chapters are very slow, until the green hair lady arrives and show lindon the fate, now things are getting interesting as he will be climbing the stairs to the school but still slow and not so much good, lets wait and see i am able to read 2-3 chapters a day till now

I know remnants little bit but what is a drudge
I was thinking about how G3 plans to wrap up Shadow Slave within the next ~500 chapters, considering he mentioned wanting to end it around Chapter 3500.
That got me wondering — there’s still so much left to explore, yet at the same time, it feels like we’re close to the endgame. So I tried to break down what major events are still pending and how they might fit into the remaining chapters.
Major Events Remaining
1. 5th Nightmare (Apotheosis)
We haven’t seen a proper Nightmare arc in over 1500 chapters. At this stage, it feels almost necessary. This will likely be the arc where Sunny approaches Apotheosis, and I expect it to take around 200–300 chapters.
2. 6th Nightmare (Divine Stage)
This could go in two directions:
A traditional Nightmare trial, or
A completely different path through Natural Divinity
Given the pacing shift in later stages, this arc might be shorter but more intense.
3. The Final Villain (The Forgotten One)
With Asterion presumably dealt with, the Dream Realm lacks a true central antagonist. That leaves the Forgotten God as the final major threat.
However, G3 really needs to elevate this character — not just another corrupt entity, but a villain with depth, motives, and presence (think Thanos-level writing, not just destruction for the sake of it).
4. Shadow Weave
This feels more like a side quest at this point — important for lore and power progression, but not the central focus of the endgame.
Pacing & Structure
We’ve seen in many series (e.g., later arcs in LOTM) that progression speeds up significantly toward the end. Early stages may take 100–200 chapters, but later advancements often happen within ~100 or fewer.
Applying that here:
5th Nightmare: ~200–300 chapters
Final progression + Divine stage + final battle: remaining chapters
This suggests we likely have 2 volumes left.
Also, with the world already collapsing into the Dream Realm, the pace of events should accelerate even further after Apotheosis.
What the Novel Still Needs
• A Strong Secondary Villain
We need at least one more compelling antagonist — either within the 5th or 6th Nightmare — to maintain tension before the final confrontation.
• Nephis Arc
Just like we got a Cassie-focused arc, Nephis deserves a deeply emotional storyline.
The 5th Nightmare would be the perfect place for this — possibly involving her past or even a meeting with her mother.
• Forgotten One POV
To make the final conflict meaningful, we need insight into the Forgotten One:
Motivations
Philosophy
Dialogue and presence
Without this, the final battle risks feeling hollow.
• Sunny Breaking the Shadow Bond
This is a bit biased, but it would be incredibly satisfying to see Sunny evolve beyond the Shadow Bond — either by upgrading his Aspect or transcending its limitations entirely.
Final Thoughts
It’s interesting how the story feels both near its conclusion and yet full of unresolved potential. If handled well, the remaining arcs could deliver one of the strongest endings in the genre.

As per the current events is going on kai is risking his life and running from a dragon to save Raven-heart, Effie has almost used all of his limits and Jet is doing what Cassie wants.
So do you think any of them will be able to achieve natural supremacy or will they have to go through the fourth nightmare to achieve it?
Since Mordret failed to achieve Apothesis naturally, will we see 5th nightmare now, since natural apothesis is not possible or will sunny and nephis achieve it inside the tomb of Ariel taking hundred of years of time and then returning
