hello everyone, I was diagnosed with hydrocephalus at a few months old and had a shunt placed and im now 21. im curious to see if anyone else who has hydrocephalus has also been told or come to the realization their walk is abnormal? I don’t have any kind of foot/leg problems but I do tend to be unable to walk completely straight at times and have been told my walk makes me look “special needs” or “childlike” and in turn gets me treated as if im not all there, besides these issues I go through life completely normally.

I’ve struggled with body dysmorphia and anorexia off and on for as long as i can remember. Unfortunately it got really bad and I lost a lot of weight, which in turn caused me to develop gallbladder disease and i had to get my gallbladder removed. Now I’ve gained weight since removal and trying to keep it off is so much harder. I’m truly struggling to cope considering my bad habits landed me here in the first place, I don’t even want to look at my body anymore.
