Untrustworthy Recover scores

For me Whoop has been going down hill since the last update. Getting weird stats and AI has been so wired lately and now this. Started feeling sick Saturday and have felt like shit every day since waking up feeling terrible. 3 of those days reflect that and then right in the middle is a random 92 score and that day I felt the worst. Doesn’t not make since to me

Added to Google health from other devices

I learned something yesterday that is super cool so I just got the air and I’m really loving it especially the app, but I also wear a Garmin watch and I learned yesterday that after your workout or run or any kind of GPS activity you can screenshot all your metrics and the GPS and upload it to Google Health and it will incorporate all. This is so cool for me because my Garmin watches my main fitness and GPS tracking device so now I can have them work together in the app.

Whoop and the air

This is not a knock on Whoop whatsoever. I’ve had WHOOP for a long time and love it. I am currently trying out the Fitbit air and I’m honestly truly impressed by it. I tried the Helio strap and I tried the Garmin circa cause I wear a Garmin watch and felt neither one of them compared to my WHOOP, but this Fitbit air has been right there with it. I absolutely love the size and look of it. I don’t even notice it. It’s so small and all the features that it has and the new features that are coming in September are more than whoop has and it’s hard to ignore that at such a cheap price. I’m gonna continue to wear both and compare before I make up my mind if I want to leave WHOOP or not i’m also using it with Bevel and it has been awesome

Blood oxygen?

Just had my first night sleep with it. I’m liking it so far but it didn’t show any blood oxygen overnight and that’s an important detail for me for sleep apnea monitoring. Am I doing something wrong? Does it take a few days to calibrate or something?

Trying it out

I’m a longtime Whoop user and I’m going to try out the air which I just got today. I’m going to wear air on left wrist and Whoop on other and compare everything for about 30 days and if I feel it’s good enough I will leave whoop. I’ve also connected it with Bevel to try that also. First impressions I love the look and feel of it way more than the Whoop. One thing that I don’t like so far is the app taking forever to refresh it we’ll see how it goes. Excited so far

Want to leave Whoop

Someone who is a long time user of Whoop over 1k recoveries. I’ve ignored other screen less wearables because I feel like they never competed with Whoop recently tried Cirqa too. At first it seemed like the air was a mess and it made me stay away from it now it seems it’s starting to get right and is really accurate, even showing better sleep accuracy than my whoop and now with blood pressure and glucose monitoring coming it’s hard to ignore it at such a good price. If anyone has had whoop and switched I’m curious on what makes you like it more?

Whoop for autoimmune

Whoop has helped me learn so much about living with my Hashimoto’s autoimmune disease. During the first three days of this recovery cycle, I ate a few foods that don’t agree with me, and it definitely showed. This entire week, I’ve eaten clean every day, and I’ve been in the green every single day. Even better, I’ve felt great.

It’s been a good reminder that what I eat really does make a difference.

Garmin Cirqa Walmart

I know I’ve seen a lot of people have issues getting the circa especially taking weeks to over a month to get it but just wanted to let people know. I ordered mine off Walmart yesterday and it will be here tomorrow or Monday.

Longer battery life

I’ve noticed a bigger improvement in battery life since last update. I’m on day 9 since last charge and still have 65 percent left. Great job Whoop 👏

Navigator band issue?

Anyone else notice the Navigator band makes the Whoop sensor hot during charging? Wonder what effect that has long term on battery health

Color change (BIP MAX)

Bought the silver one then a week later saw the Carbon grey and decided to return silver one and get this color and I’m so glad I did. Looks so much better 👌

Bevel integration update

My Bip Max got an update yesterday and as part of that it allowed my watch to send HRV to Apple health finally so now I get full integration on Bevel showing a recovery score and live stress tracking

INSANE VALUE (BIP MAX)

I am absolutely blown away by this Watch not because it’s top-of-the-line or anything but for only $99 you get absolutely way more than what it’s worth and it looks premium quality also. I’ve recently had the Apple Watch Ultra 3 and I actually prefer this one now it’s crazy how much you get for only 99 bucks and before people come on here and complain yes I know it doesn’t have a few things but it’s literally only $99 and has a huge battery compared to the Ultra 3. I also seen that it recently scored pretty high for heart rate tracking and sleep tracking on the quantified scientist YouTube channel.

From someone whose health was on the verge of basically death before starting Whoop. This is thing I’m most proud of 🫶

Amazfit app

I really wish Amazfit would make a better app experience. I love their devices. They got the hardware right their watches are top notch and I would say better than most of the Garmin watches. The app experience is the only thing keeping me from it.

Magnesium Glycinate and Inositol

One thing I really love about WHOOP is the 26 Hz a second tracking that it does on the hardware you get real life second by second stress tracking you can literally see within a minute or two something you ate if it’s bothering you as you can tell my late evening stress was staying up towards the middle in about 20 minutes before I updated this. I took both magnesium glycinate and inositol. And you can see how good it’s working. It’s staying low this whole time now.
