How do bisexuals know they have a preference?

I tried to find an ask bisexual sub specifically, but the only ones I found were either mostly dead, or just for men. My question is, how do bisexuals feel their preference for one sex? Is it that the individual finds more women (for example) attractive than men on average? Or that they think the average woman is for example 7/10 while the average man is 5/10 (I hate this number rating of attraction, but I couldn’t think of a better way to ask)? Or is it just about wanting to be in a relationship with men more than women? Or any of those reversed, doesn’t really matter if it’s a preference for men or women.

I’m not trying to be mean or anything, I just genuinely can’t imagine the feeling as a lesbian. I know the feeling is probably hard to describe, but I would really appreciate it if some bisexual tried to describe it for me so I could understand it better, at least as much as I possibly can:)

Feeling down because of my experiences, need some answers

Are most lesbians into “kinks” and BDSM and this stuff? I’ve seen a post here a few weeks back, asking how many of the women here are into cnc (if I remember it correctly). While I understand that the fact that most of the comments said yes is caused by the fact that those who aren’t probably won’t answer, it’s making me feel a bit afraid. All of my romantic encounters except for one had some of those kinks. And it makes me lose some hope. I feel like I won’t ever find a relationship, because my dating pool is already limited as a woman who’s only into other women. And it seems to me like most women who are also into women have some of those kinks, it’s making me feel like my dating pool is even more limited.

Is it really that common? Im posting this in more subreddits to make sure it’s not just one subreddit. Also, I’m only asking about women who aren’t anyhow interested in this. Not women who are but are willing to avoid it. I can only ever be comfortable with someone who’s 100% not into this stuff.

How do investigations work?

I’m honestly not sure what to tag this as, I was deciding between reporting/police, warning: sa involving a minor and question, but warning: sa involving a minor seems to fit better, even tho I don’t mention age or any specifics

I’m not sure how to word this, especially since I’m scared. If there were videos and photos, and someone found it and somehow reported it. How would the law enforcement deal with the victim? I don’t want to give too much info, again, I’m scared. I just want to know how the investigation or whatever look for the victim of this. So sorry if this is worded wrong, but I’m writing this while in a really bad mental state. Hope you understand.

Genuinely disgusted

I only selected those few comments, pretty much half of the comment section was just rape roleplay and other violent sexual practices apologists. It’s genuinely scary to me that these people just walk around the world. I’m terrified of the possibility of ever opening up to someone about what happened to me, without knowing that the person is the one who would find my trauma sexually arousing. So tired about their whining about kink shaming, when they don’t even have the decency not to turn a traumatic event that ruined the lives of millions of people into their fucked up roleplay.
