I've read countless sapphic novels but i've yet to come across one that goes past the 2 characters ending up together and explores their lives after the "ending", like them getting married, having kids and just doing regular everyday things that couples do, cause i'd LOVEEEE to read that after i've read through their story and their character development.
And, yeah i know that epilogues are there in books but i think they are toooo short and could be longer to give an utterly satisfying ending to the story

So, i read the synopsis a while ago but can't seem to find it, it's about a girl who gets cheated on by her fiance(who also leaves her before her wedding) and then she meets her fiance's mother and starts living with her and they develop feelings for each other.
I'd be really grateful if anyone would be able to help🥰🥰

The writing is really good but i honestly didn't have the heart to finish it cause the characters were SOOOO beautifully written and the relationship b/w Beowulf and Hygd is sooo intricately portrayed that you can actually feel the emotions that they are feeling thus making the ending even more sadder.
But, if you're looking for a good historical read with plenty of adventure and don't mind sad endings, then this is the perfect book for you.
