I’m sure they meant well with the plant and filter but man. Really wish pet stores would stop selling people monster fish without disclosing THAT THEY ARE MONSTER FISH

I added it about 2 weeks ago, no matter what I do it always drifts back towards the filter despite the water being level. Will probably put some sort of ring around it in the future but right now I’m trying to let it grow out. Does it look alright and will the constant bubbles harm it?

Update to a now deleted post, I have half a mind to never touch a pet sub again after how straight up evil people were last time but whatever

He’s not being euthanized and we’re keeping him. My parents were extremely stressed on account of the fact that their kid had just been mauled and had to get staples in her head, and thought it was the most humane option. They changed their minds after calming down. I won’t tolerate hate towards them so don’t even start. Just figured people should know he’s alive and will be fine.

Would prefer no blessed, dusty, or deep space. Ideally looking for 2 highs but would also take 1 nice one (like a dapple bay shire or something).

I’ve been cycling this tank for almost 2 months, it doesn’t have fish or anything yet. No idea what the white stuff is, it doesn’t look like biofilm (second image for comparison). Should I be worried or nah

How do you fix this

It has what appears to be a broken wing and some sort of gash in its chest. I called the local wildlife rehab (also the only one in the area), but apparently I’d need to capture and bring it MYSELF which isn’t possible for many reasons

(I am one person, I have no equipment, angry waterfowl terrify me, trying to grab it by hand would only further injure it and myself, bystanders might think I’m harassing birds for no reason, it retreats to a big pond where I can’t follow, also hangs around parents and their babies so I can’t get very close without aggravating them).

I’m debating just bringing some food tomorrow and seeing if it’ll accept that. I’m not getting my hopes up for its survival at this point but is there anything else that might help??
