Weil Cornell Virtual Birth Classes - worth paying for?

Giving birth at AC Weil Cornell in October. Is it worth paying for the virtual classes as an expectant parent, including the virtual hospital tour?

Would appreciate hearing from folks who gave birth at AC WC or within the NYP system.

Exercises to combat leg cramps

Hi! I am 28 weeks and have the worst leg cramps (charley horse) in the mornings. Are there any exercises or remedies to prevent this morning pain? Would stretching help?

I am curious to know how long your OB GYN checkups are, and what they are like. Are they rushed or the doctors take their time and talk to you about anything and everything?

I am 18 weeks pregnant and have seen my OB GYN doctor a handful of times now. I live in NYC and my doctor is affiliated with New York Pres/Weil Cornell hospital, so I know it’s always busy.

The first in person appointment was fine. Took forever to see her as I can hear her meeting with other patients. When it was my turn, she sat down and answered my questions with a smile. I walked away thinking she’s busy, but helpful.

I had a virtual 15 minute visit a month ago, and she went through my list of questions quickly and efficiently. I still felt satisfied, but it felt rushed.

I just had my 17 weeks checkup, and I don’t think I spent more than 10 minutes with her. Most of it was her showing me the ultrasound, and I walked out feeling she rushed through it again. She told me questions can be answered on the portal.

I’m wondering if this is how my doctor might be like when I am ready to give birth, and I don’t want to feel rushed.
