Are they’re any classic prog live albums that actually sound good?

I never liked how “Yessongs” and “Welcome Back My Friends To The Show That Never Ends” sounded. I used to chop it up to the tech for live recordings at the time just being primitive but after listening to “Live/Dead” by The Grateful Dead (an album so good it made me want to be a Deadhead) I can’t help but be disappointed by how the latter two sound by comparison.

How actually viable are “flying saucers” as method of air and space travel?

I was doing a Wikipedia read on the Roswell Incident and a question occurred to me:

How actually viable are flying saucers as a mode of transportation as both space/air travel for humans?

I’m a non-STEM guy so while my base assumption is “no” my reasoning is less scientific/physics-based and more “if they were than the US government probably wouldn’t have bothered with Operation Paperclip.”

Whitefall is a pretentious load of nothing

What a letdown. Started off unique and interesting but takes a nosedive as soon as they get to Whitefall.

People talk about how ridiculous it is how quickly the group spiraled into tribalism but I find it more absurd that in a building filled with grouchy, on edge adults that a bunch of obnoxious rabble-rousers like Acker and Nat became the social dominants in the first place. I’d believe it if they were all kids like in *Lord of The Flies* but here? Call me naive but I can’t for the life of me fathom a scenario where people just don’t immediately get sick of their BS even before the cannibalism. I wouldn’t find it so unbelievable if Walker actually cared to give more characterization and insight to the different groups beyond them all being varying degrees of pathetic. They might as well have been the Hogwarts Houses with how one note they are yet Walker seems to think that this is an adequate thesis on human nature.

Acker’s “victory” feels so hallow and unearned that I can’t even give the story credit for having the nerve for letting the villain win because it loses that nerve in the end by giving him an equally hallow kick to the balls. The meth-head was scarier than him.

Another thing: The ending sucked. Unpopular opinion, I know but if you’re not going to give me closure or an explanation for the events of your story then don’t try to butter me up with overwrought sentimentality.

At least Borrasca part five and Deepwoods were funny, this was just a miserable drag.

Is my work too weird/niche to be marketable or is it just not that good?

Or, a third thing: Am I just bad at marketing?
