Earlier today, Neil Hanes, BeamCom CEO and businessman, was posted for a warrant for Possession and selling CP and Child Abuse. He escaped a pursing FBI agent and has escaped to Texas. He crashed his custom V16 Civetta Scintilla after being clocked by speed cameras going 169 miles per hour and carjacked an old woman's D-15 with a camper hitched on the back. The truck was reported stolen and later chased by a Texas State Trooper. Although both the stolen truck and the officer crashed, Hanes was able to disconnect the camper and escape. It is most likely he is attempting to escape to Mexico.

With organized and unorganized crime on a high rise in Belasco, the BCPD has attempted a large crackdown on crime, and with the recent raid on Neil Hanes apartment, this is the second time this week the BCPD has dispatched SWAT for an investigation. The Crimson Cab co is a Cab company that has its drivers race streets dangerously for tourists or just people looking for a thrill. The Cab co has been lowering in popularity recently, but this raid will defiantly land a large blow to the dangerous company.

Neil Hanes, who was raided at his apartment in Downtown Belasco, escaped out his back garage door in his custom Civetta. An FBI agent who was leaving the scene and saw his vehicle and gave chase. The officer struggled to keep up with Hanes and eventually crashed, allowing Hanes to get away. He still has a judicial warrant and is actively being hunted by Police.

A raid on a BeamCom server farm in Texas revealed that the CEO of the company Neil Hanes was using his own internet services to confidentially transmit CSAM to anonymous buyers for large amounts of money. A judge signed a judicial warrant for his arrest, and 2 BCPD officers and a court officer arrived at Hanes' luxury apartment in Downtown Belasco. Hanes was able to intercept the police signals using an illicit police scanner and was waiting in the lobby of his apartment building with an assault rifle and opened fire on the 3 officers as they entered. both BCPD officers were shot and the court officer escaped outside. BCPD SWAT has responded and are currently locking the building down and are still in a standstill.

Last Friday, a tanker truck sent by SpearLeaf Refinery was involved in a single vehicle crash and tipped over while leaving Belasco County. The truck contained unrefined oil, which is illicit to transport in California state. The company was also logged not acknowledging multiple truck drivers complaining they were not fit or too sick to drive the trucks. In the case of this crash, the driver had 3 back to back 12-15 hour runs carrying various materials and was not allowed a break. Unfortunately, the driver passed during the crash, but investigators and EMS believe he fell asleep at the wheel, causing the crash. The driver's family have filed a civil lawsuit for Negligent Business Practices. Snooze News attempted an interview with the CEO of SpearLeaf as he left the refinery offices, but he declined to comment.

After an attempted robbery on an Armored Bank Transport, the official crime index for Belasco County has crossed the threshold of 72 percent since last January. The BCPD has sorted the issue and only minor injuries to the criminals during the arrest occurred. The criminals were apart of an organized gang who has been participating in larcenies and large thefts since 1985. But despite being the longest surviving crime group, they are only one of many gangs and mafias terrorizing the city. The BCPD is actively investigating the crime and are seeking out the perpetrators who ordered the robbery to take place.

Last weekends annual "Belasco 500" GT Race, Racer Joseph Moamia who was born and raised in Belasco, won by 0.39 seconds over French driver Loius Cromotrov. Moamia was 24, making him the second youngest to ever win the race, only beaten by Kerian Watterson (22) in 2011. Joseph drove a Civetta Scintilla managed by Civetta Racing. The company released a statment saying they are proud of the young driver and believe he is in contention for the 2026 championship. Do you think he has what it takes?
