Shit tests are a myth. They are solely used on men that women don't genuinely like.

Seems like all these pills are trying their best to convince us that women giving you shit means that it's something you must pass as a man so they like and respect you but I believe that the truth is that if a woman is in love with you, she won't be giving you shit tests. Could you imagine giving shit to people who you actually really like? You wouldn't want them to be offended or to fuck up. That same woman will go on Tinder or some other hook up app and will arrange a dick appointment with a hot dude.

If you think that you must pass shit tests, you are a jester. It's no different from the job market where you must pass the 4 cycles of interviews before finally getting rejected, and they hire the internal guy. If you are meeting a girl for the first time and she gives you shit tests, you should not react: but you should dump her ass immediately and change her for someone who doesn't do that. If you are dating someone and they give you shit tests in the relationship? Sorry bro, she's fiending for someone else's dick and looking for an excuse to bail.

Shit Test = Avoid, don't pass, don't collect. Just GO. If she is giving you shit tests, that is literally because she is lacking in respect for you.

PS: Before some dudes or women say "I give guys shit by telling them that they must be a player", how is that giving someone SHIT? That's literally flirting. Let's not confuse flirting or playful banter as a form of a shit test. If a girl is shit testing you; SHE DON'T LIKE YOU.

Do you feel that Salsa socials are being slowly replaced by Bachata?

Half a decade ago, I feel like it was more even. It's 2026 now and every week has one salsa night vs 3-4 bachata nights. I don't mind that at all, I actually prefer bachata these days, but have you noticed a shift happening? I feel like more people are gravitating towards bachata because it's more sensual, people are more likely to dance (salsa has many people who are genuinely tired after a song, bachata very few), and I find that bachata has a younger population over salsa which admittedly has way more old people in it.

Adding in Kizomba as well, even when it comes to SBK nights, that's like 2 salsa songs compared to 7 sensual ones. Even some people who were frequent at Salsa nights, I see them more at Bachata now.

What do you think? Is Salsa slowly going the way of the dino?

Am I killing my own YouTube channel? (Suffocated by Channel Page metric)

I came across a very horrifying statistic today. Basically, I find that most of my impressions come from the Channel Page. Well, what's this channel page we're talking about? It's me. It's me looking at my own YouTube page, refreshing that shit, AND EVERY SINGLE ONE COUNTS AS A STATISTIC. And every single time that I don't look at my video in full, I am punished for it, essentially.. and algorithm is like "oh shit this guy has 20 channel impressions yet the watch time is close to zero? What a garbage video".

I'm going to try to post and ghost from now on. Maybe try YouTube shorts to direct to my channel or comment on every video I watch that is not mine. But right now, my stuff is being recommended to basically nobody and that kinda stings. I did get a comment and a like from someone who found my stuff from YouTube search but, all in all, I'm pretty sure YouTube is not showing this to anyone.

Did you notice a change in your viewership after you registered with your ID?

I feel like verifying with proper ID will let YouTube know I am definitely not a bot / I am a proper human and therefore will show my videos more. I have yet to verify: have you verified? Did you notice some changes afterwards?

I just found a channel of a guy who has made 624 videos yet has 1.48k subscribers and he gets >100 views per video.. what gives?

Note: He doesn't use artificial int. to create videos and neither do I. My videos are about social commentaries, his are about relationship dynamics. It was just some dude who popped up on my feed while I am playing around with the algorithm. Pls no ban because of my name, I don't make those videos.

This is not my channel, I just started making videos a few days ago but it's very disheartening to see some small channel make this many videos yet still amount to basically nothing in terms of his viewership and subscribers. Like I said, I found him because I was told algorithm likes it when you engage with YouTube more.

You would think that the more videos you make, the higher the chance one of them blows up, right? Well, according to this dude (exactly 624 videos later) that's basically a lie. He is living proof that no matter how many videos you post, it often tends to be about luck.

His oldest video was 2 years ago. His most viewed video has 4.4K views. He covers topics that are relevant & goes into topics that people would search for yet.... nothing? My hat's off to him, I don't think I could ever continue.

The only thing that comes to my mind is that algorithm never pushes his videos out because he covers some risky topics but, again, this channel goes against everything that I already know. Even if it's something risky, this dude probably would get engagement from hate comments but not even that happens...

Even if you are a leader, you must learn how to be a follower of the music. I'm going to explain this to you through a song.

The moment that I became one of the best leads at my local scene was the moment that I learned that there's something above me that I have to be a follower to: the music. This was taught to me not at a regular salsa class or during a party but during a theory / separate musicality class by my very beautiful, very talented instructor 2 years ago, and Salsa has not been the same since.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYaUwMwkHkg

This is Tres Dias by Havana D'Primera. I picked this song because it probably has the most varied elements, and it's a slow salsa, which is where people struggle the most. Today, you'll find out that salsa is not about flashy moves out the gate and ultra spins but that it is about submitting yourself to songs themselves and matching the energy.

You can dance this song however you like. I am just giving you examples here, how I would dance it myself. These examples are going to be vague because, again, dances aren't strictly "do move A, then move B, then move C". My goal is that by the end of this post, you see songs in a different way, because when I left that musicality class I felt like I danced Salsa 2 (the sequel). Feel free to separate the songs you like yourself and see how you would dance.

#TRES DIAS: Musicality

0:00 - 0:10 -> You connect with your follower, either by walking slowly around, leading her through the podium, or you just get comfortable being close together. Very gentle beginning where you have to be creative with your intro, but going around the podium or walking in a circle while holding your arm out, no follower will complain.

0:00 - 0:38 -> Basic step, very gentle beginning again, maybe some Son moves but, again, no spins, no flashiness, just moving along to the vibe of the music, let's say that the energy is at ~20% at least until..

0:38 - 0:44 -> ..this point, where it goes from first gear to fourth for a couple of seconds, due to the strength of singer's voice. I would most likely spin the woman here, and use a very flashy move. The energy is definitely over 50+% here.

0:44 - 1:05 -> We continue dancing, more flashy moves will be introduced, but still keep the energy on a lower end, not too many, not too wild.. again, you cannot start doing flashy moves all over if a song's energy isn't the same, so if you match it then let's say its 40%.

1:05 - 1:16 -> Energy is actually lowered down, nearly to how we started off, until near the end where we depart through a flashy move.

1:16 - 1:27 -> We are dancing apart, doing moves we were learning during class while not dancing with a partner, basically doing like some sort of a playful dance, letting the follower have space and do shines, giving her some freedom.

1:27 - 1:50 -> Notice the way he says "Es Verdad", that's definitely not low energy, we go a bit past 50%. Again, the singer's voice along with the instruments define the energy of the song. Flashy moves can be used, but don't overkill.

1:50 - 2:11 -> Obviously, this is a bachata block, and contrary to the popular opinion, women fucking love bachata. If you don't dance bachata, just learn the basic step, it's literally 4 steps to the left 4 to the right, 4 steps to the front, 4 steps back. You don't have to do fancy moves but dancing salsa here would be a huge mistake, if you want to dance good.

2:11 - 2:28 -> We go back to salsa, keeping the medium-ish energy, however try to make the spin REALLY dramatic during "De lo que bien pudo ser" because the singer's voice is dramatic. Again, it's fine if you don't want to, but the dance will not be as good. The song is begging for something dramatic.

2:28 - 2:39 -> Depart again: this is a Rumba part, not Salsa. Very seductive, very intense, almost like a mating dance, at the end you do a very, very flashy move, probably the highest peak of the flash. I suggest you look up Rumba Guaguanco.

2:39 - 3:30 -> This is the salsa as you know it, flashy moves, show what you know, increase the energy past 50% and just dance off. You can start dancing off immediately, you can dance departed for a few more seconds, you have nearly an entire minute to do whatever you feel like doing.

3:30 - 3:45 -> As I was taught, when singers tell stuff like this, they want you to do a special move. In this example, you do something of the Mambo because the singer is literally saying "let's all dance mambo". There are similar keywords where you should learn to respect the song like "metales" (trumpets, start flashing all over) or "mano pa arriba" (arms up, start dancing like you're at the club). Energy is a bit below 50%.

3:45 - 3:55 -> This one is again varied, it can be Son, seductive, you can do regular moves, you can do a bit of rumba, departed, doesn't matter. Energy is about 30%

3:55 - 4:17 -> Same as before, can vary, but with a bit more energy than the block before, maybe a bit below 50%.

4:17 - 4:38 -> Very heavy Rumba block, very seductive and alluring. However, there's one key problem with this. If you know how to dance it, and if the follower does not: DO NOT DANCE IT WITH HER. It's just awkward to have her stand there as you do these dances. Do one move, if she doesn't comply, immediately move into something she knows. However, if she knows, it's literally like a mating dance, there's something primal about it while you look into each other's eyes.

4:38 - 5:21 -> Salsa as you know it: flashy moves, spins, show off. Energy is above 50%.

The total energy of the full song:

Under 50% energy: 2:08 (40.6%)
Above 50% energy: 2:20 (44.6%)
Bachata: 0:21 (6.7%)
Rumba: 0:32 (10.2%)

I hope this was of help. Feel free to do this with songs you like.

I stopped getting rejected when I ask followers to dance. Here's what I did.

I got better. That's literally it. Nothing else. Dancers hate newcomers, and everyone likes to deny this. Well; no more.

I know what you might say: "well of course you get accepted, you're good now". Well, starting out for a leader fucking sucks. When I first started dancing, during the first 4-5 months when I asked someone to dance I got rejected at least half a dozen times per party. Don't get me wrong, I was still getting dances, but I was also getting a lot of rejections. One time I was rejected 11 times in a row: technically, I was way over my head because I asked to dance salsa at a place where they play 3 Kizombas, 4 Bachatas and only 1 salsa. I was literally counting denials as I was going in a row of women (at the end one accepted). That rejection was ridiculous and funny. What wasn't that funny was when I literally left one major party all hurt and in my feelings because I got rejected 3 times as soon as I came in. No one wanted to dance with me, and having that many rejections in a row from the moment I came in really hurt me. I went out of the party and sat on a bus station wondering if this is really worth it or not. I later heard that people dislike dancers from the school I attended, so this hatred runs on a deeper level.

As it turns out, Latin dance communities are really as judgmental as you think, especially when it comes to follows who are experienced. They will absolutely judge you as you dance and they will reject you if you dance badly. What you need to make sure, as a leader, to never get rejected, is to have the follow look like she's having a fucking BLAST. Whenever I dance with a follow now, the effect that her joy brings acts like a multiplier across the board, all the followers see that she is having the time of her life and they all wish they can be her. Therefore, they are not judging you based on how you dance; they are judging you based on how you make your follow feel. I make her feel good and in return she makes me look great (and I feel good while I make her feel good).

So, if you are getting rejected, here's what I want you to do: first of all, fuck the haters. You will always get people who will look at you and be like "that guy dances like an idiot". Who cares, screw them. What is important is the following: always make sure that the older followers are having a good time. By that I mean women in their 40s and above. Go ask the older woman out. Many times, leaders will also be ageist (yes, I said it) and many older follows will just sit through the entirety of the dance. Even if you don't get rejected, remember to dance with these women. They will love you for it, and younger follows will love you for it, too, because you aren't the man who only dances with cute girls only. Even when you get better, never stop asking them for a dance. Unless they grip your thumbs off like they do to me sometimes, then probably reconsider.

Then, when you dance, make sure to work on your musicality because the musicality is king, and women don't give a shit about your fancy figures that break their bones. They want to feel the connection. They want you to feel and understand the music, and transfer this understanding to them. There are some songs where I literally lose myself in as I dance because it just really strikes a chord in my heart. I want you to feel that feeling, too, and if you are never feeling that then something is wrong and you need to "lose yourself in the music". That feeling of salsa songs have to come from your heart, and I say this as someone who got in a dispute with my friend who suggested that I should start taking salsa classes. I was not born in this, it took years of practice and love for the music and the dance.

Either way: haters exist, in salsa, in bachata, everywhere. There is not one community out there that welcomes strange new men with open arms. The only way to make the hate stop is to just keep practicing, keep honing your basics and git good. Do not learn new moves, do the basic ones amazingly. That's my advice. It's gonna get better, don't worry.

Nowadays, I still get rejected by some girls who literally dislike me for a reason that I do not know (whenever I ask them to dance, they are resting) but in general having 99% of followers accept you and even fight over you is just a good feel.

Hey, look at this, look. (A Rant)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zcOBrEc4Bo

For those unaware, there's this viral AI song out that's called "Hey look at this, look!". Basically, the lyrics are only those words, repeated over and over and over again, the melody and instrumental is entirely written by AI. The person who made it didn't even try. Not even asking ChatGPT for scripts, literally same words over and over and over again. And for some reason, people love it!

Well, everyone except me, apparently. I fucking hate it. And you know why? Because after all this talk about AI Slop this and AI Slop that, people took the AI Sloppiest Slop of all and went "hey, this sounds fucking awesome, I don't care that it is AI". While both AI & Non AI people are trying to make something that doesn't sound like an uninspired piece of shit, at least trying to put some thought & creative direction into it, some dude just went "Hey, Look at this, Look" 30 times and let the AI do its thing. Then all the social media brained people went "I can use this to make people see my content" and the rest is history.

Honestly, I'm at a point where I feel like making "Check out my post!" song which is just that, over and over again, then spamming it in TikTok videos to gain traction. I can't imagine what it's like for people who don't use AI to produce music, work for months on a track and get 5 views while "Hey Look At this Look" gets world wide popularity. Whenever someone tells you that "AI Slop is hated", tell them to suck a big fat sloppy dick.

Discuss the new meta, I guess. It feels that every song is aimed to boost engagement rather than try and make something fun and interesting.

When it rains; it pours. Wish me luck.

Unemployed, depressed, stressed out and binging on tons of food, sweets & alcohol at times to cope. I'm constantly on the run and it feels like I am working on getting out of this mess 12 hours every day, including the weekends. Because of all this, I am currently at about 140kg / ~308lbs and it just fucking sucks, not because I got that big, but because I am being guilted about it. I don't even mind this weight that much, I am a big guy and I go to the gym, I can lose this in months time, I wish I could just eat my stress away until I find a place to work but I can't even do that without massive amounts of guilt because my family keeps commenting on my weight & making me feel even shittier about myself, talking about "pulling myself by bootstraps" & "I am stressed out because I am fat, I need to lose weight fast".

I know how to lose weight. I've done it before. I know exactly how to make myself look like a fucking Greek God.... but I am dealing with so many demons that I don't know how I'll manage. It's too much. Life sucks, man, I just want to get high through all this pain. But I'll get through it even without the sugar, I guess.

I'm going on the hardest diet of my life when I need it the least. Wish me luck, I guess.

It's time to fight back against the people calling everything AI Slop. I give to you: AI Sauce.

Obviously, not every creation is AI Slop. While some of them are sloppy (absolutely, not every creation is same) it seems to me that everyone calls ALL AI creations "a slop". Honestly; I feel like that is just the wrong approach, cause for something to be "a slop" there needs to be an opposite counterpart.

Since I have seen people wonder "what would we call good/great AI", I've come up with the term:

##AI Sauce

Just makes sense: if slop is some garbage that's fed to you then sauce is the good content that you find exquisite. Primarily, AI Sauce is AI-based creation that passes through two filters:

a) it doesn't get recognized as AI because it is just that good (so it just fits in with the crowd, anyway);

b) it gets recognized as AI eventually but people don't really care because the creation is good and doesn't seem like it's been slapped up in five minutes. There is thought and creation put behind it, and if there is a script it does not read like an AI instant message.

What do you think? Potential to catch on? Any other terms to use for "good AI" creations?

Unpopular Opinion: Maybe it's not Suno; maybe it's your fault the song is shitty.

Listen, I may get potatoes and tomatoes chucked at my face for saying this but I feel the need to state the obvious: it's not Suno; it's you.

Honestly, it's ridiculous that everyone is blaming software for their shortcomings. You wouldn't say this to a programmer with their language or cry to Photoshop when it didn't perform how you expected it: so why is Suno any different? Would you bitch to Excel about your forms or to Powerpoint that you don't know how to make a nice looking presentation? I think we are overlooking the fact that we are now living in an age where we can just fucking do this, it's magical and awesome: but people are very fucking ungrateful & are focused on stuff that's just petty.

For me, it seems that these companies are creating proper software now instead of just "slap a button & get a hit". My songs have not degraded in quality: why? Because I have always tried to keep a high quality myself anyway. I know music theory, I write my stuff and when I use GPT to write a full song, I rewrite it in parts I do not like / does not follow a good rhyming scheme, generating images takes back and forth between trying to make it look nice and so on and so forth. Experiment, man, try to use different versions, it's not like they puffed the fuck out in air!

I'll give you an example: I was trying to redo my song in Suno on mobile and I notice that it keeps changing the overall feel and vibe even though I wanted to update lyrics. So I got on Suno Desktop, downloaded the voice of that song and applied it on new renditions, adjusted settings to 0% for weirdness and 5% for style and 99% for song I am remixing, then I did v5 which then I remastered it, I used ChatGPT to help with lyrics after which I adjusted reverb and dbs on my 2nd phone app and my point is: do you experiment before you complain or do you try to do it over and over again with same parameters?

So yeah: whatever happened to "try harder" or "git good"? You just expect a software to make a platinum single for you EXACTLY the way you want it without flaws, just like that? I'm tired of it and having this "everyone is equal and everyone's song is awesome". It's not but you can get better, I believe in you. Just don't fall into the pit of "it is everyone else's fault but mine". I will generate a song in Suno then run it through a second AI then run that through Audacity to cut out the parts I don't like then I will run it through an app on my phone to flavour it more and I don't think I am the greatest but I definitely don't consider that something has gone shit.

Also, another unpopular opinion that's gonna get me TRASHED: I know most of you don't even have a Suno subscription. I wish I could teleport you all back to 2000s when an Adobe studio rig costed $100s of dollars. I think if God himself came down from heaven and said you could have powers of Jesus Christ for $20 a month, you would say that it is too expensive (and then buy a Pokemon card or a League of Legends skin or an n-th Steam Game for double the money). Point is: if you don't have a subscription, you don't deserve the right to get pissed at having worse service.

Now throw the tomatoes, please. I like the Beefsteak one.
