My Dark Vanessa by Kate Russel (review)

Y’all better be joining me with this one.

I have a lot of questions.

I need to know more how Vanessa was at home.

I need to know despite her learning about the manipulation, why she would still want to do the deed?

I pity her for having a dark teenage story but she was being carried away by the pleasure as well.

Let me know your thoughts.

Rated the content of the story 4⭐️ but i got bored most of the time.

None Of This Is True by Lisa Jewell

What the f is this? (SPOILER ALERT(

This book is great! From building a great momentum to an explosive climax and plot twist— but that ending? What happened? Please tell me im not the only on here. I need a decent closure.

I’m not going to buy that ending. That last chapter of Josie’s POV was a meh. Nawp girl! You can’t convince me with that.

The fact that you’ve stolen things from Alix’s house and set up Nathan— you can’t save yourself from that.

Over all ⭐️4/5.

Note: i’m scared of reading her other books again.

MEDICAL VA, EA, Amazon VA, HR Assistant/Talent Acquisiton Niches

Hello guys! JOB DUST FOR EVERYONE ONE

This is my story:

Grabe din yung impostor syndrome ko ngayon. Hindi ko alam paano set up gagawin ko sa sarili ko. Although nandoon na yung experience na meron ako but I never felt they were enough.

Timeline:

February 2020 to November 2020 (10 months)- I applied in Concentrix and got shortlisted but never really had the prod experience.

2021 to 2023 (Full-time)( 2 1/2 years): My first-ever work-from-home job that lasted for 2 1/2 years in a California-based caregiver registry.

2021 (Upskills): I enrolled in AmazonNationPH and spent Php 35,000 for the enrollment fee. I've learned a lot.

2022 to 2023 (Part-time) (1 year): I had my first-ever Amazon client as an Amazon Product Lister for a German business owner.

2023 to 2024 (Part-Time) (7 months): I had my 2nd Amazon client who sells products on Amazon and had the chance to navigate Amazon Seller Central. I helped the client by encoding the daily, weekly, and monthly sales.

2025 to 2026 (Full-time) (5months): Landed a German client again. This time as a Head of People Operations, and I stayed there for 5 months until the client scammed me. The experience I had mainly involved creating job posts on OnlineJobsPH, filtering the applications, conducting initial interviews, and onboarding them in the company. I also served as the general VA of the CEO.

Medyo hindi strong pero meron ng experience kesa wala.

Yet, I still don't have the confidence. I'm still trying to fake it til I make it. However, whenever I see job postings that align with my qualifications and may nakita akong isang bullet point na hindi ko pa na-experience, matik pinanghihinaan agad ako ng loob, and feeling ko I will wreck in the interview.

The qualifications that I have fit for Medical VA, EA, Amazon VA, and HR Assistant/Talent Acquisition. If you guys have free time, baka po pwede maka hingi ng help in organizing and optimizing my resume?

Should I create a different resume for different niches? Or ok lang ba na pagsama-samahin ko na lahat sa isang resume?

Also, grabe, pinanghihinaan ako ng loob. Hinahire lang nila yung magagandang VA (lol).

Thank you so much for reading! I pray na makakuha na tayong lahat ng client, and for those na may client, magtagal at mag-grow pa sana kayo at ang inyong mga salary.

Saving Noah by Lucinda Berry help me create my tbr list by dropping your top 5 favorite thriller books

This is, by far, my favorite psychological/thriller book. I read 4 including House Across The Lake, Verity, The Only One Left, and Saving Noah. Currently reading The Last Mrs Parrish

These are the piles that I have in my shelf:
Girl On The Train
Gone Girl
None Of This Is True
Love, Mom

Pretty much the overhyped books.
I need to add more since I fell in love with thrillers right after finishing The Only One Left.

Prolly gonna add the following:
All of Lucinda Berry’s books
All of Riley Sager’s books
Behind Closed Doors
Look Closer
His and Hers
Rock Paper Scissor
The Reformatory
And There Were None
That’s Not My Name
We Used To Live Here
Pretty Girls
Hidden Pictures
King of Ashes
Local Woman Missing

❗️❗️❗️I need to add more. So help me by dropping your favorites and I will check which titles will be mentioned multiple times.
Thank you!

Should I continue reading the Boys of Tommen?

I just finished Binding and Keeping 13. I got attached with the story, yes. But is it enough to continue the whole series?

I’m so disappointed with Chloe Walsh tbh.

The dialogues in B13 and K13 are so shallow. It needs more depth. I need a poetic lines for each of the characters. Tbh, I don’t feel like the characters are genius. They are flat.

Let’s dive deep:

  1. The whole story revolves around Shannon going in Johnny’s place and have sex with him and Johnny gives her spin home.

  2. Shannon deserves better. She got a lot of trauma from her past but it seems that fucking with Johnny is her coping mechanism. I’m looking for more approach on how she would deal with her trauma. (I’m so disappointed!!!)

  3. Gibsieee!! Terrible. Most of the time I was cringing with his jokes. I don’t like! They are not landing! He is so boring! I don’t like him sexualizing people especially Johnny’s mom.

  4. I’m tired of Johnny’s pov that keeps on mention “christ ma” “jesus christ” “shannon like the river” “ ugh fuck”. Really terrible

WHAT I LOVE:
Joey is the only character that hits me right in the heart. Aoife, Edel, John, Hughie, Claire, and Lizzie are all great as well.

I don’t know if I should continue reading s6, r6, t7, and r10
