Over 1 million women think DV is a joke

Surely no one has reported it right 🤔? Seems like these social platforms really take misandry seriously!

Young people (boys) are more likely to hold hostile attitudes towards women, study finds

A new Australian study, funded by the Office of National Intelligence, surveyed 1,122 young people aged 13-17 and 2,307 adults, to compare attitudes on women, gender equality, online influences and violent extremism.

Among boys aged 13-17 the study found:

  • 31.8 per cent believed that attempts to give equal opportunities to women in Australia have gone too far
  • 30.1 per cent believed men have more of a right to a job than women when jobs are scarce
  • 24.7 per cent believed feminism is damaging to our society and should be resisted with violence if necessary.

“Engagement with ‘manosphere' content, pornography and online dating showed the strongest links to misogynistic views,” Dr Meger, said.

Also on several measures, teenage girls shared similar views to adult men surveyed. Gen Z women were twice as likely as Millennial women, and four times as likely as Gen X women, to agree that marriage entitles a husband to sex with his wife, even if she does not want to.

Comments:

Do you know how many times the rise of misandry was mentioned? Not once.

The word misandry in the entire article? Not once.

What about in the study? Not once.

Until academics and political figures recognize the key driver in the increase of misogyny and the red-pill rhetoric is the widespread misandry present in social media and pop culture, no change will be made.

How do we penalise social media applications for misandry?

I think it’s no surprise that social media has ultimately been responsible for the rampant misandry against boys and men in the recent decade.

In my experience, content moderation is much more lax when it comes to misandry than misogyny. How can we open an inquiry into different applications and their content moderation standards?

Reminder: SAHM is the easiest and most employable job of all time

This is not to bash SAHMs, but rather to push back at the narrative that being a SAHM is the MOST difficult job of all time.

I do believe it is difficult if you have multiple young children or children with disabilities.
But once children are in school, it’s a whole other ball game.

SAHMs tasks:
Cleaning takes an hour.
Cooking maybe 1.5 hours.
Laundry 30 minutes 2-3x a week.
Groceries 2 hours once a week.

On average it’s a 3 hour workday. Add on the kids clubs/school run, and potentially 5 hours.

This doesn’t compare to a 9-5’s 10 hour workday including commute, or a blue collars workday.

I also think many people also get blinded by the time; effort, comfort and flexibility are not even factored into the equation. A lot of these daily tasks are flexible that you can do with a movie on in the background in the comfort of your own home.

Not to mention how easily available of an option this is for women. If you screw up your education, your career, or your entire life - it’s not difficult to find a decent man to settle down with who will fund your lifestyle.

The only difficulty of being a SAHM is monotony.

Being a father is a thankless job

Society loves to parrot that being a mother is a thankless job, i disagree.

Everyone loves their mother, even though there is no shortage of terrible mothers.

But how many people love their fathers? If you are not perfect as a dad, you are a deadbeat.

The sins of the mother, the economy, the environment get pushed onto you. You are responsible for all ailments that inflict the household, your suffering goes unacknowledged, your good deeds go unappreciated.

I've seen this with all men in my life, i refuse to slave my life away for a family who detest me.

The Risk gap

Just a few thoughts on this matter.

When a family or community falls into economic difficulty, someone has to absorb the risk. In many societies, men are disproportionately expected to provide, protect and find a way out from a young age. That means taking dangerous work, migrating on small boats across turbid seas, accepting unstable jobs, or entering gangs.

And inevitably when men fail they are churned out like garbage.

The statistics show this:

  • In the UK, 93% of workers who died in workplace accidents in 2025/26 were male.
  • In England and Wales in 2024, the male suicide rate was 17.6 per 100,000, compared with 5.7 for females, this is 3.08x higher.
  • In England's 2024 rough-sleeping (on the street) count, 83% of people sleeping rough were male. Census data similarly found that around 67% of people identified as homeless were male.
  • In the UK, the rate of alcohol-specific deaths for males remained around double the rate for females (20.2 and 9.7 deaths per 100,000 people, respectively)
  • In England, there were 128.7 drug-poisoning deaths registered per million men in 2024 (3,710 deaths), compared with 60.6 deaths per million among females (1,855 deaths). That is 2.12x increased chance for men.
  • In England, YE 2026, Men made up 72% of all asylum seekers.

A man who takes a dangerous job and successfully provides for his family is simply seen as doing his duty. A man who fails faces dire consequences.

But it is a thankless job, willfully ignored by society.

UK: A Fairer End to Relationships, the government seeks to establish legislation to protect cohabiting couples

The biggest practical changes would likely be:

Legally binding pre and post-nuptial agreements.
Financial protections for many long-term cohabiting couples.
Automatic inheritance rights for qualifying unmarried partners.

A step forward or backward?
