How do I center the 0,0 coordinate to the middle of my SVG?

I'm using inkscape to prepare logos for import into FreeCAD for parametric 3d modeling. I'm by no means an inkscape expert or graphic designer

Why I need to do this, is because having the origin point not be the center of my SVG makes it a pain in the ass to center it in my CAD designs. I know theres an option to set the origin to be bottom left of the page, but i need it in the center of my SVG. Or at least to the center of the page and then a way to center my SVG to the middle of the page as well.

What would be the easiest way to chamfer the rightmost face to make it flush with the left face?

Hey guys, still learning FreeCAD here, appreciate the help :)

This loop is a result of a revolve operation, with unanticipated result being that the outside of the loop is thicker then the inside, creating a bit of an ugly weak point in the design.

Is there an easy way to do this that doesn't involve doing more manual sketches and pocketing? That feels like a rather ugly and computationally expensive way to do this. I think I recall seeing other CAD packages that could do this. Ideally I'd like the two faces merged into one, but as long as they are parallel it'll work.

I have tried making a groove using the line between the two faces as the reference, but that creates weird artifact. It seems like there should be a good way to do this but my google-fu has been failing me.

King and pawn endgames are a weakness of mine, how on earth is white +7 here? I thought black was easily winning with the 4v3 majority

Crazy to me that it's not even at least a tie but +7. Would have thought for sure black was winning here.

Why does my object disappear after I perform this pocket?

Does anybody have have any ideas of where I should look and how to avoid this problem in the future? I have been able to figure out if I set "offset to face" for the pocket going to the left face in the screenshots, the object comes back.

How do I increase the diameter of a threaded hole made using the hole tool?

I'm currently working on a project with some holes in order to screw a vial set I have into. I generated a test thread to see if I got the size right using the scad file from this project https://www.printables.com/model/94761-nut-job-nut-bolt-washer-and-threaded-rod-factory/files

I used the following options in the scad file under the nut options:

nut_type                    = "normal";//[normal,wingnut]
//Distance between flats for the hex nut
nut_diameter    = 30;
//Height of the nut
nut_height      = 7;
//Outer diameter of the bolt thread to match (usually set about 1mm larger than bolt diameter to allow easy fit - adjust to personal preferences)
nut_thread_outer_diameter     = 15.75;
//Thread step or Pitch (2mm works well for most applications ref. ISO262: M3=0.5,M4=0.7,M5=0.8,M6=1,M8=1.25,M10=1.5)
nut_thread_step    = 1.5;
//Step shape degrees (45 degrees is optimised for most printers ref. ISO262: 30 degrees)
nut_step_shape_degrees = 45;

And the nut fits the bolt on the top of the vial well, but I am having problems translating these options to freecad, the biggest problem being that the hole tool seems to not have any way to set the diameter of the hole. When I print it out what's shown in the above pictures simply comes out too small for the bolt to ever fit into.

I recently had a huntsman living on my roof, then a week later a second bigger one appeared. This morning I found the smaller one dead hanging by a thread from the roof.

Is this a regular thing? Do huntsmen kill other huntsmen?

The price seems pretty absurd to me considering I think I heard that each head costs around $50 USD? (~70AU).

70x8 = $560. A 300% markup.

Thats way more then the US price which is 800USD I hear?

That doesn't include shipping which is gonna make it more expensive (+300 if I remember from my core one), but thats just australia things.
