I Turned 5 Years of Beard Growth Obsession Into a Published Book

I know some people might think writing a book about beard growth or minoxidil is “nothing special,” but honestly I’m proud of myself for finally finishing it.

Over the last 5 years I documented my entire beard-growth journey — from having a weak patchy beard with gaps to eventually growing a full thick beard. During that time I tested a lot of things, wasted money on random advice, learned what actually mattered, and kept notes on the whole process.

Recently I finally sat down and turned all of that experience into a complete eBook written entirely by myself.

I also built a small Skool community around the topic and even published the book on Amazon, which honestly feels surreal because a few years ago I never imagined I would ever publish anything.

Maybe it’s a small achievement compared to some authors here, but for me it feels huge seeing years of experience finally turned into something real.

Finishing the book taught me that consistency matters in more than just beard growth 😂

I Wasted 5 Years Learning Beard Growth So You Don’t Have To

Crazy to think how much my beard changed over the last 5 years.

Back in 2021 my beard was weak, patchy, full of gaps, and I used to spend hours searching beard-growth forums and trying random things from the internet.

I tried:

- biotin

- oils

- garlic

- derma rolling

- random “secret methods”

Some things maybe helped a little, most honestly did almost nothing.

Eventually I started using minoxidil consistently and over time that completely changed my beard.

One thing I realized during the journey is that most people massively overcomplicate beard growth. The internet makes it sound way more complicated than it actually is.

Consistency mattered more than everything else for me.

Recently I started writing down my full experience, mostly because I realized I learned a lot over the years and wanted everything organized in one place instead of scattered across old notes and photos.

Honestly comparing old pictures now still feels unreal sometimes.

I Wasted 5 Years Learning Beard Growth So You Don’t Have To

After around 5 years using minoxidil for beard growth, I finally decided to write a book about my full experience.

I went from having a very patchy beard with a lot of gaps to a full thick beard, and honestly the journey taught me way more than I expected.

Before minoxidil I tried almost everything:

biotin, oils, garlic, random internet “hacks”, supplements… basically every beard-growth trick you could imagine.

Some things gave tiny improvements, most were a complete waste of time.

So I decided to put everything I learned into one place:

- what actually worked for me

- what did not

- realistic timelines

- mistakes beginners make

- consistency tips

- beard grooming advice

- and the exact routine I personally followed

I tried to keep it simple and honest instead of making it sound like some scientific guru guide.

Just real experience from someone who spent years figuring it out.

Honestly feels crazy finally finishing it after all these years.

I Wasted 5 Years Learning Beard Growth So You Don’t Have To

After 5 years using minoxidil for beard growth, I finally made a community + eBook about everything I learned.

I went from a weak patchy beard with gaps to a full thick beard, and honestly during the journey I wasted years trying random stuff from the internet before finding what actually mattered.

So I decided to put everything together:

-the exact routine I used

-mistakes I made

-what actually works

-what is a waste of time

-realistic timelines

-grooming advice

-consistency tips

-beginner guidance

I opened a small Skool community mainly for guys serious about the journey and wanting guidance/community during the process.

The community is paid ($5/month), and the full eBook is separate ($45).

So total is basically $50 if someone wants everything.

I know some people will think that’s expensive and that’s completely fine. You absolutely do not need it to grow a beard. There’s already free information online.

But this is basically my full 5-year experience organized into one place instead of spending years testing random advice like I did.

If it helps someone shortcut the process, then great.

And if not, no problem at all 🤝

Finally launched my first Shopify store after months of research

Hey everyone, after months of researching Shopify, watching YouTube videos, overthinking everything, and restarting multiple times I finally finished my first ever store 😅

I’m a complete beginner, so I know it’s far from perfect. I still have the generic Shopify domain for now, but I’m planning to buy a proper domain soon once I finalize everything.

I’d really appreciate honest feedback from people with more experience. What looks bad? What should I improve first? Any tips about product pages, design, trust, branding, or conversion rate would help a lot.

Trying to learn and improve step by step 🙏
