Buy now, pay later and shipping updates

Happy Sunday everyone!

We now have affirm and klarna available for quarterly plans. This will extend to our upcoming HRT treatments for womens health and all future health categories. This was requested by some people and we were able to implement it this weekend!

Another update regarding orders placed late on Friday and saturday, most orders will be shipped monday morning (as we have requested already due to making sure overnight delivery goes smooth) however, it seems some orders were picked up by UPS this morning and are scheduled for delivery tomorrow. It would seem VialsRX is trying to keep up with the amount of orders from other telehealths as well and expanded their shipping days. I am not upset about it, but the vast majority of telehealths still opt for 2 day shipping and only a few of us have overnight standard. My concern is that something might get overlooked and not ship Overnight.

If this happens to you, please let us know so we can gather the information and bring it up to the pharmacy. We are still new and our orders are expanding rapidly, so information like this helps us ensure the pharmacy is doing exactly what we negotiated, as it is now too much for our small team to individually check each and every orders tracking # as we were in the beginning. With that said, our customer service response times are still well within our goal, with most recieving a response within a few hours or less.

I want to remind people that if you message your doctor and you dont get a response after an extended period, we do have it set up to ping us and let us know you haven't recieved a response. we do try to follow up with patients and ensure they recieved a response, but if more than 48 hours passes without a response, please always let customer support know so we can follow up for you directly and escalate it.

I just want to stress this fact, because we had someone concerned that I could see their doctor messages after I followed up personally to see if they got a response. This is not the case, we merely get flagged that you haven't recieved a response, so please let us know so we can accommodate you in a timely manner. Our customer supoort cannot assist you if you do not let us know, otherwise.

On a final note, please ensure you are sending medical support or provider related questions to the DOCTOR option in the chat window, not SUPPORT. Our support team cannot assist with care related questions or medical advice.

Thank you again for your support! We stand by our promise to provide service of the highest caliber we can.

Website redesign and new products update

Happy Saturday reddit!

Just popping in to post this quick update. We have been diligently working on a website redesign and im excited to share it wont be long now before we switch Over. It will be the same domain and there will be no interruption in the websites function, it will be a clean swap in the middle of the night sometime very soon.

At the same time this happens, we will be offering women's health products such as Estradiol in patches, gel, creams and pill form available on monthly and quarterly plans along with Progesterone in montly and quaterly plans (no subscription/auto renew plans) just simple orders upon approval from a licensed physician.

At this time, we dont offer lab services (we may in the future, we are looking into it) but if required by your physician you will be able to submit your own labs easily.

After this update we will be working on men's health products as well (enclomiphene, ED and hair loss treatments) and in the future even more to come!

This will be moving towards our goal of not just being a platform thar offers access to weight loss care, but out mission of providing whole health and wellness access.

We strongly believe in the patients ability to be their own advocate when it comes to their Healthcare and that access to life changing treatments should never be gated or at the whim of insurance companies. This company exists to be so much more than just another weight loss provider. At our core we are believers in access for all and that patients must have a choice and voice in how they approach their health and wellness needs.

Thank you all for being here for us as we continue to grow and work towards providing more for everyone.

Update on orders placed Friday and over the weekend.

Hello all!

Trying to do this while I still can keep track of most of the orders, we recieved quite a bit of orders on Friday and Saturday, specifically!

Most of those orders were shipped overnight yesterday morning and delivered today, however that was on request from me, normally they dont ship on Sundays.

There are a handful of orders that shipped this morning for delivery tomorrow and a very small number of orders (less than 5) that didn't make that one, they should be shipped out tomorrow for delivery Wednesday.

Thank you so much once again to those of you that are giving us a shot! We really appreciate it and are always here to take care of you.

Update on shipments so far and future products

Hello all!

I dont know how many of our customers are currently on reddit, but i do want to take a minute to once again thank everyone who has been ordering for their support.

Everything is operating smoothly, orders are being prescribed within timeframe and shipping is knocking it out of the park!

Our customer support tickets remain simple questions with most of them being directed to doctors since they were prescription specific questions.

Moving forward, tony and I are working to hopefully have other products available soon, namely hormone treatment for women *and* men, as well as hair loss and ED medicine available for prescription if qualified. Down the road we also want to make MIC+b12 injections available as well as sermorelin and others.

Thank you!

We are Live! 🥳🙌

Get started today at somirahealth.com

Hey everyone!

Today, Somira Health officially launches. 🥳

I wanted to make this post personally because this company has taken months of work behind the scenes, and seeing it finally go live honestly feels surreal for us.

The goal from the beginning was simple:

Create a weight loss platform that feels modern, transparent, and approachable without all the confusion, pressure, or clutter that seems to exist everywhere else online.

We spent a long time focusing on the experience itself:

• keeping the process straightforward

• making pricing transparent

• building a clean patient portal

• working with licensed providers and regulated U.S.-based pharmacies (VialsRX for now but we are also working on more treatments in future)

• creating something that actually feels trustworthy

We’re still small. We’re still growing. But we genuinely care about building this the right way and creating a platform people feel comfortable using.

Thank you to everyone who joined the waitlist and supported Somira before launch. It really means a lot.

Today, we officially open the doors!

As In the post, we are launching with VialsRx for both Semaglutide and Tirzepatide with b12 and Glycine as additive options. Overnight shipping is standard with us here at Somira Health!

somirahealth.com

Our customer support chat is working in the portal and we will be standing by to assist, as well as monitoring feedback here in our reddit community.

Weekly Pre-Launch post 5/25 and important announcements!

Today is memorial day, and as we honor those that gave the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, i hope everyone is safe and doing well.

I am posting this early today as I am trying not to work too much today since everyone is off and our partners are closed, but there are always things to be done.

So, with that said, I'd like to announce that Somira Health is in the home stretch! We are looking to be caught up to our original launch date of hopefully later this week or next week. Legit script has been taking a while but it looks like they are moving along with our application smoothly. So fingers crossed 🤞 but I know once we launch, its far from over for tony and I, as this is when our real work can begin building and taking care of our new customers.

After careful consideration and a lot of research and discussions, we have decided to partner with VialsRX for launch. In the future we will aim to add more pharmacy partners but I think we are coming in at a strange time, where some pharmacies are either too backed up and overwhelmed or prices have actually gone UP a bit. Though I think since we are new thats just how it seems to be for now and we will have to work on establishing a good customer base and reputation so that when things calm down a bit we can open the door to new partnerships. We have put a lot into building this company and we will adapt and grow and continue to adapt.

So, on VialsRX, they are surprisingly very responsive and accommodating. I've been using them through another telehealth thats popular on the sub (🤫 it was for research! Lol) up until we were able to connect with them ourselves and ive been very happy with them. Personally ive been using the tirz with glycine for the past 2 months so I felt comfortable partnering with them and yes, we confirmed that they are able to serve all 50 states, (im in CA so i know how some of us have limited options) ive seen some people concerned about this in the main sub, but i promise you, they have no intention of not staying around for the long haul and growing, same as us!

We will be offering:

•Semaglutide and tirzepatide with B12 and Glycine as additive options.

Overnight shipping as our Standard shipping option. This means once the pharmacy processes your prescription, it will ship Overnight instead of 2-day. Contrary to popular belief across the subs, we do not get to "pick" the packaging with majority of pharmacies, only the shipping timeframe, as only very few fufilling pharmacies offer cold chain and coolers and right now the ones that do are not willing to take on new accounts. For now. Tony and I had a lot of discussions and shipping was decided to be Overnight was the best tradeoff, as we want you to not only get your meds quicker, but we felt that with most pharmacies using insulated envelopes and ice packs, Overnight just makes more sense to us.

Some more quick notes on this and new pricing

As a result, we had to raise our prices slightly to make Overnight shipping standard. It wasn't an easy decision but we felt quality and speed were worth it for our customers, as we would want the same thing for our meds. Because we tried to price everything as low as possible for us, especially being new, it wasn't possible to fit in the shipping and keep pricing the same AND cover all of our business expenses. Could we have jacked up the price alot and then gave small discounts? Sure. But tony and I dont want to give discounts or special pricing, we want everyone to have access to the lowest price that WE can provide at the moment. Everyone deserves a fair price from a company, and in the future as we grow and can negotiate deals, we hope to pass the savings to ALL of our customers instead of a select few. This is our personal philosophy.

New pricing will be:

Semaglutide

$189.99 per month

$409.99 per quarter

Tirzepatide

$284.99 per month

$664.99 per quarter

This price does not change even when you go UP to max dose/maintenance plan. We dont have tiers or levels to a subscription, just one simple price per plan. No hidden costs or fees, no surprise price increase, etc.

We will be compliant with the 28-day rule so for quarterly you will recieve 3 vials, but keep in mind, the BUD for 503a will be shorter and it is intended that vials you recieve be used in their respective timeframe for your treatment.

We are only offering 1 and 3 month plans at this time as well, simply because we are sticking with 503a pharmacies for now and dont want to run into BUD issues.

TL;DR

We are almost ready for launch

Prices went up a little because we made Overnight shipping standard.

VialsRX for launch pharmacy partner

I know this was a long post, but i want to be transparent and open about what decisions we are making, why we are making them and how we can try to at least have a benefit for customer at the end of it all.

Thank you if you took the time to read all this!

Im technically not working today but if you have any questions ill do my best to reply throughout the day!

Happy Tirzing, beautiful people!

Weekly Pre-launch post 5/19

Hello again everyone! Another busy week down for Team Somira!

Last week was a little chaotic, we had some issues with getting the waitlist up and running but as most of you can see, its working!

Im posting a day late this week because we were in a flurry of trying to dial in some pharmacy partners and this week will be mostly that, working on setting up some commitments to a few pharmacies for launch based off our initial pricing. There appears to be no shortage of demand and supply seems to be evening out but we are hoping for solid progress this week with hopefully being able to lock in and announce pharmacies we will be using at launch. But Tony and I are gonna be burning the candle at both ends this week to get us caught up finally so that our team can focus on the backend integrations for the customer portal and ordering workflow. 🙌

So, short update this week, i know...but...good things are happening behind the scenes and we truly appreciate those of you who are keeping an eye on our newborn company. It really does mean a lot to us, as you can imagine, starting a company and not knowing what the future holds can be daunting, but exciting at the same time.

I'll be back next week with another (hopefully more action-packed) update!

Website and waitlist are live!

Hello! I hope everyone is having a good week!

We have a basic version of the website up and running with a waitlist you can sign up for if you'd like. Once our legitscripts cert finishes processing we will be working on pushing a site update.

You can find it at Somirahealth.com

PSA: If you are using a legacy email provider such as yahoo or AOL, the emails may be deferred. During our testing of the waitlist those emails can take anywhere from 4 to 72 hours to arrive in your inbox due to yahoo and AOL being a little slow (very slow) with their vetting.

I'll post another status update on the state of our road to launch by monday! I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their week!

Weekly pre-launch update post 5/11

Hello everyone! Just wanted to make a post to keep everyone in the loop on what's going on and estimated timelines for launch, so i figured i would start giving a weekly update!

So, the past few weeks have been a flurry, but we are progressing smoothly! There are several factors out of our control (namely some contracts we are waiting on along with our legit scripts certification) that are a little behind right now. We need these things to be able to move forward with a few things.

In the meantime, our website was rebuilt by hand, we decided we wanted more control over our website, brand and freedom to move as needed in the future so rather than going with a subscription/template company we are having it all coded custom. Its been taking a while, but for now we nearly have a working website (a very simple, yet straightforward one for now) that will have a form for our mailing list sign up. This will only be used to inform you of when we launch through email and will help us get a reading on expected demand for when we launch.

I will let you know and post the link for the site when its ready (hopefully by the end of this week is what I'm told by our IT peeps)

Looking ahead, the next coming weeks we will be slowly integrating the patient intake portal to the website and running internal testing on everything from ordering, fulfillment, provider visits, payment system and overall work flow from start to finish. We want to minimize the chance of any hiccups occurring on launch (although we are also preparing for it just in case) so this step may take us a few weeks. During this time any links to the patient portal will be password protected to prevent any accidental early orders.

Thank you for your patience! I will have more solid timelines built in the coming weeks as things come together but I'm happy that you're here and excited to share with you the website (and pricing) very soon. 😁

Welcome to r/Somirahealth

Hey everyone 👋

Glad you’re here.

My name is Vincent and im one of the Co-Owners/founders of Somira Health!

We have been building our brand and company silently for the past several months and we are about a month away from launching (hopefully sooner but the recent prorx and bpi shutdowns have set us back a bit) but ive been a long time lurker on a lot of the more popular tirz subs, because tirz changed my life (and my best friends, too)

My best friend and business partner, Tony and I are both disabled veterans, and were frustrated with how difficult it was to get the weight loss treatments we desperately needed. I especially am unable to lift heavy weights or run, so its extremely hard for me to lose weight, even working with a dietician for years! I kept getting denied treatment options over and over. Compounded tirzepatide changed both our lives and made something inaccessible to us, attainable and affordable.

We started this because we saw how frustrating and confusing the weight loss space has become for many others, as well. Too many hoops, too much cost and not enough transparency. So we decided to build something simpler.

Our goal is pretty straightforward: make access to medical weight loss options easier, more affordable, and way less intimidating at a realistic monthly subscription cost priced off the lower doses that *won't* increase even as you titrate up.

Our small team has been working hard, and this subreddit is where we want to start engaging with everyone before launch! (Mostly me, because I am excited. Also, i love reddit)

Here’s what you can expect from this community:

• Honest discussions about weight loss medications and the process

• Clear breakdowns of how everything works

• Updates as we get closer to launch

• A place to ask questions without judgment

And just as important, what this isn’t:

• Not a place for spam or shady offers

• Not a place for unrealistic claims or miracle cures

• Not medical advice

We want this to be a space where people can actually learn something, share experiences, and feel a little less lost in the process. I hope you'll be kind to us and eachother as we try to make sure we build the type of company that puts customers first.

If you’re here early, you’re part of the foundation of this community! Thats not only important to me, but pretty cool, too! (Maybe not, but i like to think so)

So once again, If you have questions, ideas, or things you want us to cover, drop them below. Also feel free to say hi! We’re listening 🫡 and the website should be ready soon for me to share with you all.

Appreciate you being here, and please keep an eye out for future updates regarding pricing and plans as we work to finalize our relationship with our pharmacy partners.

So until we launch, happy tirzing!
