Buyers Market - commissions

We are looking at homes right at $300k in very much a buyers market. Homes sitting 90 days to a year and reducing / dropping original listing prices.

Is it strange that the sellers agents keep asking us to sign something that says We the Buyer will pay part of commissions? Like before we are even shown a house or put in an official offer?

We have bought and sold before and traditionally our selling agreement was always that we would pay a commission amount that could be divided by both the buyer and seller agent. ( Louisiana if that matters)

Feeling pressured and confused.

Im personally curious to see how quickly things have changed via the side by side comparison next round….

Has the idea of better customer service / Value changed your perspective? Or is cheapest price as long as I get medication still what works for you ? Is AI overdone? What matters most to you going forward over the next few months shake out, with the very real possibly of more pharmacies choosing to no longer compound GLP1?

It really does feel like a fast Wild West business space, and some won’t survive not only FDA but their own business model missteps ~

We still have plenty of BPI stock — no need to panic. Posts suggesting otherwise are inaccurate or unnecessarily causing concern.

We are not a middleman for pharmacies, we do not rent an off the shelf "weight loss" telehealth platform, and we do not lease our physicians from a network. We do not automatically approve orders and ship like an Amazon model. These are real medications, with real side effects, and real clinical impact. While we are working diligently to get through all the orders, we also are trying to ensure that what we are doing is best for the patient.

We are owned by physicians, and operated by physicians. All of our physicians are directly employed by us, and we’ve built this program to provide a more clinical, patient-focused experience. We realize this is not for everyone, and there are plenty of good choices out there for those who need something different than what we can provide.

At the moment, we are unfortunately still operating on an older platform (we weren’t anticipating growing this fast! 🙈) while we work hard behind the scenes to launch our own proprietary system.

Due to the massive recent influx of orders, our full launch has been slightly delayed, but we are incredibly close — and this new platform will make the entire experience significantly smoother for everyone.

The past 3-4 weeks have brought an overwhelming amount of support, which we are deeply grateful for. Our team has been working diligently to process orders as quickly as possible, but the surge has created some temporary strain. We have also hired a ton of additional staff to help with this influx and we appreciate giving them a little grace as they work to quickly get up to speed on our process and provide the service you’re accustomed to.

We kindly ask that you allow 7–10 business days for processing before sending follow-up emails, as additional inquiries can further increase ticket volume while we work through current orders.

We truly appreciate your patience, support, and trust as we continue building something better.

Bring on the BPI orders, there’s plenty of stock left 🎉 (But maybe wait a week 😁)
