Any other lazy mfs like me just unplug when needing to pee and just wear the IEMs to the toilet?

Can't be assed refitting.

Will there ever be a native dark mode?

I'm not talking about themes. But the actual FX list window, drop down menus, preferences, etc.

I like a dark theme and when I'm in a late night session I open my fx list to get blinded for about 5 seconds. Surely something or someone has done something about this?

Help me by letting me help you.

If your music isn’t sounding quite how you imagined whether it needs more punch, clarity, depth, or overall polish I can help.

I’m an audio engineer and producer from New Zealand, now based in the UK. I’ve spent the past seven years producing and mixing my own music, from hip-hop and trap to indie and alternative styles. I focus on bringing out the character of a track while giving it the balance, energy, and impact it needs to translate well across different listening systems.

I’m currently building my client portfolio, so I’m offering free mixing in exchange for permission to share short clips of the finished work on my platforms, such as Instagram. You will be fully credited.

You'll get a single professionally mixed track at no cost, and I get an example to help build up my portfolio... a fair exchange.

Criteria:

  • Must be confident in your ability to produce music (Can't polish a turd)
  • No phone recorded vocals
  • You need to know how to export your tracks as stems.

There’s no pressure: if you’re not happy with the result, no stress at all. If you like what I do keep in touch.

If this interests you, send me a message. Looking forward to working with y'all.

Let me mix your shit for free*

If your beats aren’t hitting as hard as you want, or they sound a little weak and need more impact, I can help.

I’m an audio engineer and producer from New Zealand, now based in the UK. I’ve spent the last seven years producing and mixing my own hip-hop and trap beats, developing a strong understanding of how to bring out their energy, clarity, punch, and balance through a tasteful mix.

I’m currently building my client portfolio, so I’m offering free beat mixing in exchange for permission to share short examples of the finished work on my platforms, such as Instagram. You retain full credit for your music at all times.

You get ONE professionally mixed beat at no cost, and I get a portfolio example. Simple as that.

There’s no pressure: if you’re not happy with the result, no stress at all. If you like what I do keep in touch.

Criteria:

  • Must be confident in your ability to make a good beat (Can't polish a turd)
  • No phone recorded vocals
  • You need to know how to export your tracks as stems.

If that sounds like something you’d be interested in, hit me up.

Peace

Reaper Love (What else can I discover?)

I love reaper. I need reaper. Every single time I see that scythe I know I'm in good hands. Thank you. Thank you so much.

Also being able to side-chain to a plugins parameters is absolutely legendary work. I often side-chain snares to the pitch mod on a synth pad and and dial the attack and release and the curve till it flows beautifully It's nice know that different elements can react with others in this way. It actually is sometimes easier to get the desired effect than manual automation.

Is their any other useful creative ways y'all use side chained parameter controls? Even with mixing? I'm very curious what else I can do?
