My idea if Mortal Kombat 2021 went a different direction starting solo stories giving the spotlight to the iconic characters of the 92 game starting with Johnny Cage, Liu Kang, Scorpion and Sub-Zero, Kenshi I added because Lewis Tan deserved a spotlight til getting to the tournament merging the first two tournaments in one which they did in the second movie but should be a lot later to complete a saga. Enjoy 😉

If you want to know how I'd do the story just ask and I'll answer questions.

This is the one thing that is baffling about Mortal Kombat and I think Liu Kang, Scorpion, and Cole Young gave me the answer to this question. "Where the fuck is everyone in Mortal Kombat." I get it to be patient there gonna reveal these characters, but that's not what I mean. What I mean is why are these characters that want to see ancient relics now. We know Night Wolf exists due to a picture of him in Sonya basement, or Bi Han mentioned the Lin Kuei but actually very unaware of the clan's existence in the present time, and it seems Bi Han had more for Outworld than his own clan. The question remains is still WHY??

But there is something I missed that the Shirai Ryu extinction takes place before the 10 tournaments of Mortal Kombat. With only knowledge of the games, I assumed this took place during the tournament stages. But apparently this took place before the tournaments even began. So either Bi Han was hired to annihilate the clan by Shang Tsung to break the prophecy which was my first assumption to this narrative. So does that mean Bi Han after ditching his clan to Outworld allegiance. But if so what does this mean for the clan did it deteriorate over time or evolve with society. But this is my next question what happened to Kuai Liang, was he just abandoned by his little brother and just died of old age, now this is a theory what if he became one of the champions in the last 9 tournaments along with Night Wolf that was killed either before the tournament possibly by Bi Han for his allegiance or GORO due to his kill streak.

This is a theory due to Raiden's words "We have lost far too many champions, it is time to bring them home." Now I'm not an expert but Raiden sounds like he lost more than Kung Lao, Cole Young, Jax Briggs, and Liu Kang this sounds like he lost an army of Kombatants either killed during the tournament or tracked and murdered before it began. We know Shang Tsung has been disregarding the rules of Mortal Kombat since he lost the first tournament we see in the murals of the 2021 movie.

But this brings me to the next theory following up on the last, What if Raiden was talking literally bringing back the warriors of the last 9 tournaments Kuai Liang, Nightwolf, Kenshi, ect. But the reason why we haven't seen them is because they were already dead, but now to the beginning of what I said how Scorpion, Liu Kang, and Cole fits this theory it's the way Cole powers look very similar to what Scorpion and Liu Kang deaths the Hellfire is the key to all of this due to Outworld losing after 9 tournaments of victory Raiden now deciding to resurrect his fallen Kombatants, but why now when he had since after he lost the second tournament. I think Shang Tsung says it clear, "death is only a portal." What if Raiden couldn't bring back warriors until he wins a tournament until then they are set to the Netherrealm until a win to return to life. Being cursed down to hell is the same as characters like how Scorpion was. We see the way a Kombatant dies Liu Kang and Scorpion were very similar to miss it can't be a coincidence there showing us what happens when a Kombatant dies.

But my theory is for the third movie will be a time skip due to Outworld defeat our warriors that we haven't seen will be introduced to the present day been dead for so long, Kuai Liang and Nightwolf with the team venture down to the Nether Realm to find there missing friends Jax, Kung Lao, Liu Kang, and Cole stumbling upon a invasion of the Nether Realm is starting to brew.

So I rewatched the film and a choice of wording of Raiden, "we lost far to many of our champions, it's time to bring them home." Now hear me out what if Raiden wasn't just talking about Jax, Cole, Liu, and Kung Lao but the champions across the 10 tournaments that took place. I thought about this but when Liu Kang is stabbed by Shao Kahn it looks similar to how Hanzo was killed in the 2021 film. Now what if the third film introduces characters maybe Nightwolf who was either murdered before the tournament could begin, or Kuai Liang what if Bi Han murdered him for allegiance to Outworld and possibly was a champion as well. So what if until Earthrealm wins, they can't bring back their warriors having to be stuck in the Netherrealm until Earthrealm wins being basically an Outworld trophy the souls of a dead warrior. But what do you think about this?

This list goes from actors, one on ones, attires, versions of certain characters, and character interactions.

10. I want to see a full comic accurate God Emperor Doom. If RDJ is really are big bad I want this MF feel like the All Mighty in robes of White and gold armored bending reality at will. I know RDJ is gonna be the next generational villain like Thanos he just better look the part as well. As well for a face off against Tony Stark back from the dead this battle would be legendary seeing RDJ the beloved hero vs the hated notorious villain.

11. I want Moon Knight to eventually pop the fuck up again, this man just disappeared on are ass after one good season like damn we could be at Season 3 by now.

12. I want Eric Bana to return as Maestro, Hulk 2003 is one of my favorite films in my childhood I was born a year before this movie was made. This was my first Marvel movie I ever watched, but not just that I wanna see Hugh Jackman Wolverine face off against this MF this would make me jump for joy.

13. Give me Ioan Gruffudd as Reed Richards one more time, and Miles Teller as The Maker alongside Pedro Pascal as Mr. Fantastic creating the council of Reeds but importantly give John Krasinski one more time to shine as Reed because Multiverse of Madness did him so dirty.

14. I want to see Ghost Rider finally in the MCU I don't give a damn who they cast as the Rider I just want my boy back from being put on hold for so long. But if anything I want 3 ghost riders Nicolas Cage, Gabriel Luna, and if possible Jon Bernthal as Cosmic Ghost Rider.

15. I want the main focus on the story with Reed and Doom I have a big feeling we'll get something in Doomsday but this is their story Secret Wars is Doom believing he's God and Reed is the devil when it's the other way around.

16. I want to see Tom Holland in the Symbiote suit but I don't want to see an alien suit but a classic all Black Suit with no veins like Venom this needs to just look like a suit not an entity. What Tobey got was a great example of his suit but black but losing the webbed threads and it's perfect. On this topic I need a spiderman vs Spider man battle. Either Tobey or Andrew against Tom or hell maybe both. We see in Brand New Day Tom is on another level probably strong as or possibly now way stronger than the two of them and with that suit they don't stand a chance.

17. I want this to be the ending of the MCU or the Sacred Timeline no retcon like everyone goes back after Doomsday and we pick off where we left off nah. The only things that should stick is The New X-Men and The Fantastic Four everything else should have a new beginning. I know some people wouldn't like that due to The New Avengers, Loki, and ect because the storylines are kinda unfinished but you can keep the characters and keep them casted or recast I honestly could give a damn but refresh on a new story.

18. I want Mahershala Ali to finally come back as Blade if he doesn't show up in Doomsday I understand due to them wanting the Fantastic Four, X-Men, Thunderbolts, Avengers, and Marvel Legacy all there in a big ass film. But this MF better show his ass up in Secret Wars and if possible a glimpse at either Nightstalkers or Midnight Sons.

19. I want a death that will give the same feeling Tony Stark did in endgame but due to The Multiverse Saga not giving us a constant character in the infinity saga give us a Marvel Legacy character that would feel like a death that put the theater in tears bc the only character that has been constantly popping up in Daredevil, in She Hulk, Echo, Born Again Season 1, 2, and next year 3 please Marvel don't kill his ass off. If you do this will probably shake Marvel to its core and honestly be the greatest send offs in the saga if they do this I want him to wear the white suit as The Hand of God to get his last moments with Foggy Nelson.

But that is my list for Secret Wars let me know what you do or do not want to see in the MCU finale.

Honestly don't think Keith David will be the Jackal yet, but I see him being the big bad of the next movie. But if he is The Jackal in Brand New Day I honestly would love to see this fight on the big screen. Jackal isn't my top favorite villain in his rouges gallery but definitely my top 10.

The reason why Kang was mediocre was one issue they bet on him being the endgame of the saga carrying one actor to play Nathaniel Richards across a Multiverse Saga. When we saw Thanos Josh Brolin didn't play him until Guardians. Majors could play him in Loki as Immortus or He Who Remains. Like when you think Secret Wars you don't think of Kang but Doom. But an Avengers movie could make an awesome villain with Kang but not the endgame. The second was making him an Antman villain to set a rivalry between the two like Iron Man and Thanos didn't make him exposing enough to get a future. Marvel's biggest issue is betting on all Kang and you never bet on all Kang.

Who has the looks and build to pull off this version of Kuai Liang?

What if Mortal Kombat gave you a choice who to play as in the story missions. They want timelines and jump on the Multiverse train why the hell not pick the faction chooses the story you go on, like let's say you have Sub-Zero and Raiden battle pick the fighter in the story and move forward with the fight. Or Johnny Cage and Reptile picking Reptile will move forward in his story. Like Mortal Kombat sims basically which honestly would follow the line. "CHOOSE YOUR DESTINY!"

Is the Infinity Saga actually finished?

Nah after I saw how Spider-Man put the belt to ass on the scorpion, there ain't no way Scorpion was just bitched like that. This MF is gonna need a miracle and an upgrade to be on his level. But when Michael Mando posted the Scorpion comic of him becoming Venom will this be the climax fight with Scorpion getting the symbiote after getting slammed like that into a police car like damn Pete no love tap just a straight murder. But if not I don't think we'll see more Scorpion this MF has to be dead as a door nail or just heavy ass plot armor. Honestly I want a scorpion to be in ICU and the symbiote finds film and goes for round 2 with Spider-Man.

Man I'll tell you something about Mortal Kombat the coolest looking characters that were unique from the original character were made into punk bitches.

1. Baraka from his original design to being the pushover of the games. Beaten 4x in mk9 and not only that. Baraka is the kinda guy that has your back he stood his ground in MKX just to be murdered in the streets by D'Vorah. Like damn man all those arms blade and sharp teeth and not one body he caught, but then he's resurrected in mk11 just to bitched out again this man was a half demon hybrid and he goes out like a jobber every time he's on screen. MK1 actually redeemed this issue.

2. We got Reptile the original 3rd ninja of Mortal Kombat, just to be Shang Tsung slave and your personal punching bag. Why we gotta do him the same way as Baraka, I get we need fights in the game story but damn he couldn't catch a break in mk9 or MKX just to be just a reskin up Scorpion in MK11 like damn. Glad they kinda fixed Reptile in MK1 just not my kinda fix I was hoping for.

3. Noob Saibot and all I got to say damn he was always also cool with the look, but Bi Han not Noob Saibot is a little bitch. This is the kid that dressed cool in school but someone looks at him the wrong way he wants to throw hands and get his knocked the fuck out. Stop throwing your tantrum child, we get you got cool shit but you ain't all that. Ermac ranks higher than your ass he actually ripped Jax arms off you killed a wife and son what you proud about.

Just for MK1 to make his ass more annoying but finally doing some shit.

Sadie Sink is obviously playing Jean Grey and can't deny it any longer. But she won't be the main villain the DODC and Tombstone will take that place. We see in the trailer Spider-Man will be hired by the DODC to capture her. And yes she seems like she will some antagonist shit with William Mexter trying to imprison her. But sympathizing with the character seems like Marvel is going for, with her being that powerful and being locked up, wouldn't you feel pissed too. Just because what is in her blood makes her a huge threat. But honestly it seems like she'll have her own story possibly even looking like the main villain til the third act when Spiderman learns the DODC are the evil ones and could see the full X-Men roster beginning in Brand New Day. This would be like in X-Men Wolverine origins where all the mutants captured and this time Spider Man saved them like Wolverine did. Now I wondered why Spider-Man is fighting the hand in the prison this possibly could be the answer, breaking the Mutants out of the DODC prison or I'm thinking to hard and it's just Scorpion. 😂😂😂

I just know one thing Jean Grey isn't the big bad of the film that a MCU misdirection.

After what we saw what are some of the things that you want to see in the future Mortal Kombat film apparently in pre production in the writing the script. If you were behind the desk writing the next film. What are things implemented from the games comics series or old films. Hell it could be a certain character introduced, fatality, a death, a fight, a resurrection on a character. What is something you want to see going forward. Plus they already gave us something to look forward to in the future?

If you read my last post on Mortal Kombat Fire and Ice then you will be caught up to speed. Now we have Scorpion and Sub-Zero, it will be in the year 2023 as we are introduced to Mortal Kombat Blood and Thunder.

Giving the spotlight to Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, and Sonya Blade.

Act 1 establishes a high-stakes, character-driven setup for the tournament by interwoven personal downfalls and ancient rivalries. The story opens with Johnny Cage, a washed-up, delusional Hollywood star whose wife has just left him. Desperate to reclaim his fame, Johnny is tricked into joining the generational Mortal Kombat tournament by Shang Tsung, who was masterfully disguised as his agent. Meanwhile, at Raiden's Temple, a lifelong-trained Liu Kang and his cousin Kung Lao brutally fend off a surprise Tarkatan ambush, signaling to Raiden that the tournament has officially begun. Simultaneously, Special Forces operative Sonya Blade tracks the mythology of the tournament alongside Jax Briggs following a chaotic run-in with the Black Dragon clan and Kano. This leads Jax to seek out Cole Young, a centuries-old, decorated MMA fighter living a quiet life with his family. Back on Earth, Cole meets Sonya Blade, who has detained a clueless Johnny Cage and a locked-up Kano. Reptile ambushes the group, but Kano overpowers the assassin, executing a brutal fatality by ripping out Reptile's heart. Winning his freedom, Kano strikes a deal with Sonya to help the group—including Kuai Liang—reach Raiden’s temple. Meanwhile, a devastated Sonya discovers a hospitalized Jax, whose soul is slowly being consumed by Shang Tsung’s dark magic, prompting Raiden to use specialized inter-realm medical equipment to halt the corruption. As Liu Kang returns to the temple—leaving Johnny, Kano, and Cole stunned by the magic—Sub-Zero launches a sudden ambush. Kung Lao makes a dramatic entrance to defend his cousin, but Shang Tsung and Goro quickly arrive to escalate the assault. To prevent his fighters from being slaughtered outside the rules of engagement, Raiden uses his power to teleport the Earthrealm warriors into the safety of the Void—a realm outside space and time—effectively surrendering his sacred temple to Shang Tsung to be used as an Outworld fortress.

In this action-packed finale, Earthrealm's champions secure a hard-fought victory in the Mortal Kombat tournament despite a series of brutal Outworld ambushes orchestrated by Shang Tsung and his hidden mole, Kano. After Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade win their initial battles, an attack on Raiden's temple leaves the team vulnerable, resulting in Kung Lao's soul being absorbed and Cole discovering his true identity as the legendary cryomancer Kuai Liang. Unleashing his ice powers to save his family, Cole joins forces with a resurrected Scorpion and the remaining heroes at the ruins of the Shirai Ryu to launch a deadly counter-offensive. In a series of intense, separate climactic battles, Sonya, Liu Kang, Johnny, and Scorpion successfully eliminate Outworld's top warriors before Cole, Liu Kang, and Raiden pool their elemental powers to destroy Shang Tsung. Though the fallen heroes are restored to life, the victory is short-lived as Emperor Shao Kahn appears through a portal to promise a full-scale invasion, prompting Cole to recruit a new warrior named Tomas for the upcoming war.

Reasons behind some of my creative liberties.

One I don't think Cole is a bad character just undeveloped. When I introduced Kuai Liang in Mortal Kombat Fire and Ice to see him now in present day. I changed the narrative with him being a trainer giving him Kuai Liang's personal traits a teacher, and now will take the mantle Sub-Zero and Tomas under his wing.

Goro having a bigger role was my go to, instead of just being a body count.

​

Liu Kang being the main character instead of Scorpion and Sub-Zero they have there screen time but don't overload the plot. With his interactions with certain characters like Raiden, Kung Lao, Kitana, GORO, and Shang Tsung.

​

Adding characters from the games was a big thing adding fatalities and more to keep it flowing.

​

There is a tournament and it actually matter but making it in 2023 would be better.

​

Recasting Johnny Cage to have the Cole Young role in the ring after being called a fake fits his character.

I've been working on this for years in a way you could say that it's my most frustrating project I've ever worked on. Due to the beginning is the easy part, but watching the second movie new ideas pop in my head, but realizing the time wasted could have been an opening to bring Mortal Kombat back to the big screen. So my formula will be two movies and two series to span a 5 year period.

My first project to start off in 2021 will not be the first movie due to too much money being lost, and during COVID. The first will be the series Mortal Kombat Fire and Ice. Instead of a movie trying to juggle too many plots bringing in characters that don't make sense to the plot almost watching two separate films. But in my 8 episodes I will see Joe Taslim as Sub-Zero, Ian Anthony Dale as Scorpion due to the age of Hirokuki Sanada I think I have a better role for him to play in the future.

Episode 1 will show Bi-Han origin being kidnapped as a child along with his younger brother "Kuai Liang, Lewis Tan's character." We see them grow apart as Bi Han is the high ranking assassin. We see Lin Kuei politics, and training in the most extreme. Grandmaster Oniro wants the two rivals of the Shaolin and the Shirai Ryu eliminated.

Episode 2 focuses on Hanzo Hasashi, we see his war flashbacks, him training his son, his life will basically be the opposite of Bi Han. Lin Kuei assassins begin to kill Shirai Ryu ninjas who are really Hanzo. Hanzo kills them all but knows there is more coming

Episode 3 will be the follow up with the head of Japanese empire giving Hanzo an order to form an alliance with the Shaolin. Hanzo travels to find the Shaolin dead and Bi Han was the executioner in the madness. We get Hanzo vs Bi Han but lead to Hanzo's death.

Episode 4 will be the most gruesome episode in Bi Han perspective of the Shirai Ryu clan demise. Seeing Bi Han kill Japanese soldiers and Shirai Ryu families. Eventually killing Hanzo's wife and son. Seeing what he has done he never reveals his face again, and sees through ending Hanzo bloodline and a new domain for the Lin Kuei territory.

Episode 5 Kuai Liang and Bi Han fight due to Bi Han's cold heart on what he has done killing the innocent. We get a view meeting Cyrax and Sektor and Dr. Rottwang saw the first test of cyber technology for an Easter egg in the future. But Kuai Liang leaves Lin Kuei seeing how twisted the clan really is, as Bi Han is starting to hear and see a tormented Hanzo Hasashi waiting to be free.

Episode 6 will be a full episode taking place in the Nether Realm, seeing Moloch torture Hanzo. Hanzo has been in the Nether Realm for over a year now due to time works different in the dead. Hanzo kill Moloch and rages through an army of Demons to meet Quan Chi. Quan Chi tells him his family is dead and his clan all thanks to Bi Han, and offers Hanzo a opportunity to his Spector to have revenge. As Hanzo adopts the name Scorpion.

Episode 7 will begin with Kuai Liang going to the Shirai Ryu Village to pay his respects to the dead. Hanzo rises scarring Kuai Liang realize that not Bi Han he teleports to The Lin Kuei Temple. Bi Han driven mad after Hanzo spirit tormenting his mind. Bi Han kills the Grandmaster seeing how he is now Sub-Zero Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei up ranking Cyrax and Sektor as his head generals. Scorpion rises as Sub-Zero and Scorpion battle as Cyrax and Sektor fall to there demise. Kuai Liang teleports in to save his brother's life, making Scorpion have to retreat. Kuai Liang disgraced with his brother's actions killing the Grand Master, the massacre of the Shirai Ryu and the Shaolin, knowing now Bi Han is gone. As Bi Han adopts the name Sub-Zero.

Episode 8 will be the Epolgue Sub-Zero visited by Shang Tsung to be his champion of Outworld as Sub-Zero accepts, Hanzo defeated Quan Chi reveals Bi Han will be in the next tournament as he began to prepare. Kuai Liang is now on a boat leaving China and is heading for America.

That is Mortal Kombat Fire and Ice in a what if they did Mortal Kombat right. I took what could have a full story at the beginning of the first film and took a creative liberty to make a series out of that beginning.

This is a fan idea so meaning I'ma write out a complete timeline and story that would work as a Cinematic Universe the only films that are canon are the 95 film and annihilation. Starting in 2021 to whenever I feel like the story is finished. Giving character arcs, with solo films, series separate but in the same world, build ups, and giving a Mortal Kombat Fan story. Which will be better or worse than what we already have.
