My buddy was arrested the other night for what they think is drunk driving. He failed a field sobriety and they took him to the station and took his blood. He has a temp paper id. His question was obviously without driving can we still go to the bar while he waits for the results?

Have any of you gotten out of a dui due to the police pulling you over for a lack of evidence or anything like that?

Hello everyone, I am 24 and the other night leaving the bar around 3:30 am I got pulled over. (I usually stay a few hours after) to sober up. I was failed a field sobriety test and was taken to jail for a blood draw. I have a buddy planning to follow me. I pulled out and a cop was coming and was behind me. My buddy was behind the cop. The speed limit was 20 and I was going 14-17. My buddy called me and said be careful that’s a cop but the driving behind me. Sure enough 30 seconds later I got pulled over. The blood test will absolutely show that I was drunk probably extreme. The cop said the reason for the stop was the fact I was swerving all over the road. I have an eye witness that proves that isn’t the case. I know for a fact I wasn’t. I have a mode in my car that won’t even really let me swerve at all. I’m wondering if I bring this up to my attorney to try and get it dropped since the reason for the stop was a lie. Or is there a way to see the footage before deciding to try at court or take a plea. Or should I just take a plea since I have no priors, no parking tickets no nothing?

I have very bad anxiety which has got immensely better in just 10 days of quitting vaping. That being said, I find a big trigger for my anxiousness is bloating. There is a gut brain connection problem that idk what’s going on. But my question to you all is on your quitting journey have you noticed that you are bloated 24/7? I’m like a balloon all the time whether I eat or not and want to know if this is common?

I’m 10 days clean of the the vape. I smoked for many years and just have a hypothetical. I know for a fact this quit will stick and I won’t be a chain vaper anymore. That being said I like to drink every now and then. At what point if I have a drink and hit a vape am I not a smoker. More importantly how long do I have to go without nic to where if I do cave while drinking I won’t suffer withdrawal?

I wouldn’t say I’m a success story…(yet) 9 completed days of no nicotine which is a huge accomplishment for me. I have vaped for the past nine years and have made it to day like 5 a handful of other times attempting to quit. That being said and alcohol binge which landed me in the hospital finally woke me tf up. For starters I’m diagnosed with pretty bad anxiety. I take anxiety meds as well as benzos for panic attacks and sleep. Here is what I have noticed 10 days in to my last quit ever because I know I will succeed.

Be prepared if you suffer from anxiety. You will get anxious, you will get nervous, you will get a plethora of other things. That being said, while my anxiety has gotten worse my panic has almost disappeared. I’m sure like most of you anxiety is hard but the unmanageable is panic. The only thing that little nic monster does is stop your withdrawal from it. It doesn’t relax you, it doesn’t help you, and sure as hell doesn’t help anxiety.

I could ramble on about my experience. Yes I know I’m only 10 days in but it doesn’t even matter because I’m not a nicotine vaper anymore. Change your identity. If you quit before any serious damage is done your body can almost heal itself as if you never vaped. I wish you all the best on your quitting journeys!

This has been the hardest day for me and it’s not close. Crazy bodily pain, headaches and crazy panic attacks. I took some vallium to ease the anxiety and panic and it did nothing. Up until this point it has been a breeze. Need advice to keep going. Want to hit nic to stop these horrible withdrawals

I’m on day 6 now of quitting vaping. I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks. I have been a vaper for aboout 8 years and this is the longest I’ve been. It is a huge milestone for me. I’ve noticed an increase in anxiety but basically no panic which is a win in my book because that is what was hurting me the most. My question to people quitting or who have quit is I’m starting to develop high bp is that a normal thing while my body adjusts to no nicotine?

I just finished quitting alc and I’m determined to quit nicotine. I’m only a day in and have noticed I’m ho*ny asf is that normal?

Hello everyone, I recently have become a short term alcoholic and am going to quit. I already suffer from crazy anxiety and this binge drinking is destroying my health. As someone who has lifted on and off my whole life I love to lift but haven’t been exercising and replacing it with drinking. Obviously the first step is quit alcohol but what are some supplements that are just good and will make me feel better for daily health. God bless you all!

Hello everyone, I am on anxiety and adhd meds as well as a small dose of Valium to sleep. I have been been binge drinking the last 2 months. Probably 7-10 drinks 3-4 times a week. Half the time I wake up the next day and I’m anxious all day. I know alcohol makes anxiety 10x worse and I’m stopping. My question to those who have been through this is that is the amount I drank too much to where I can use some Valium and stop. Or do I need to go to a detox place to be monitored. Currently 18 hours sober. Resting heart rate and moving heart rate are normal but blood pressure is a tad high. Thanks for the help.
