Their happiness went up, but their production immediately went down. Apparently, they're not that much different from us. And I suspect the bartender is peddling Nipnip buds on the downlow, but I'm not doing anything about it unless he embarrasses us by getting caught. Until then, I'm just going to redefine my role from "Overseer" to "Overlooker." Besides: they work hard. They deserve some fun too, don't they?

If I go to Options -> Network and turn on Multi-player, can I find other Travelers (ie you guys)? Or do I have to pay that stupid monthly fee? I've been playing solo this whole time, and I'd like to visit some of you and be visited by you. (And hopefully give away a lot of stuff I've hoarded "just in case", lol!)

I've maxed out my standings with all 3 races, and I have these 3 different badges that I can pin.

What good does that do me?

Because I'm trying to give us gamers that have been gaming for 30 & 40 years (or more) a specialized sub for camaraderie and community: We're often overlooked, even though we are the OG (Original Gamers, lol). Our $ over the years kept the industry afloat and helped make it what it is today. *Open to all Travelers, of course!* ULTIMATE GOAL: To start an in-game community hub for all of us as well; hopefully our children and grandchildren will join us there.

Edit: Clarification

I'll be 55 this fall, and I was just wondering if any other Travelers were born way back in the 1900's. If so, is NMS not *exactly* the kind of detailed space exploration game we waited for for decades? I've waited over 45 years to be able to climb into a starship, pick a planet, fly to it, land, and get out and walk around a completely alien landscape that's populated with stange plants and animals.

NMS is better than the 9-year-old me could have ever dreamed.
