Ms .45 (1981) is a film I am apprehensive about recommending but it deserves attention

Ms .45. This movie demands your attention and it’s very in your face. It’s about a woman who is sexually assaulted horribly, curses the existence of all men so she buys a colt 45 and starts killing them randomly. I was recommended it to me because I said I love Mandy. I get the recommendation because revenge but these are totally different movies.

The feel is gritty New York if you like the Warriors and the Night of the Juggler this movie is for you.

I have to warn you the sexual assault is brutal. It is plural as well.

This is a movie that you can’t just have on in the background. If someone walked in while you were watching it they would ask you “what the fuck”.

This movie is like Joker for women.

This is the kind of movie that I was apprehensive about recommending to you guys but it’s too unique for you to miss.

I really have to warn you before your viewing, the sexual assault is rough. It’s a serious film where you will feel different after watching it.

It is a horror thriller drama there is no comedy here.

It is about a persons reaction to violent sexual assault but it’s more tasteful than other movies tackling the subject. I can’t blame her. This is the world women are forced to live in, being treated like creatures. Oggled over and degraded. She gets her revenge for living in our society. The movie is the reaction to that trauma.

Art is subjective but Mandy is generally a horrifying film.

Man, so many positive things I could say about this film. The acting. The visual display that is in front of you. The colours. The way Linus shows you his complete naked body to the viewer. . Let me catch my breath. I love this film. Cage is an exciting actor. Anything he is in you are enticed because Cage.

The moment when the camera fades to Jeremiah and Mandy’s face. Melts like volcano lava into the picture.it’s really peak

The movie switches from a drug induced romance, to horror to straight up what the fuck am I watching. Peak cinema, the kind that makes you feel emotion.

My favorite moment is the importance of the number 44. When you notice you realize.

It’s a romantic horror film. The best kind. Some people might say it’s slow but okay art is subjective. But man the awesomness of Mandy is real.

Also you can buy the 44 shirt and tiger shirt. I own both

If you have an Afrin addiction. Nasal spray. It sucks. But take a half spray and purchase saline to dilute

If you have a histamine issue, you tried everything but some of you might have found the drug Afrin. It's the nasal spray that fucks with the constriction of your nostrils. If you are like me, I want you to know that you can take a half a spray and suck it with saline solution. It will get you off it. If you were like me this is how you do it. Fuck that drug. The things companies feed us.

Anyone catch the msn article about a new album, the article no longer exists

https://futileendeavour.com/

Shows that msn had an article about Radiohead surprising with a new album. The link no longer works. I figure it was probably an AI generated article like many others that gets routinely deleted but still. Anyone know what it said?

Hey American Dad show runners, we want more Klaus. Give us more Dee. I need that Dee. I want the Dee deep inside me when I fall asleep. I want a Dee Sundae with Dee’s nuts as a topping. Give me all the Dee I can fit in my mouth at once as I try to say “Give Me More Dee”.

I adore horror. Really a genre that can make me feel the largest ranges of emotions, laugh, cry and be white knuckled. Little have I thought of this genre meshed with romance. Spring does this very well and is unique. If I could tell a film person such as yourself what it's like, it's like the before trilogy with body horror.

Spring is to be remembered by it's two leads who have great chemistry and do very well with their parts. Italy and the coast is another character and the filming takes full advantage of how beautiful Italy really is. There is a tracked shot that plays in slow motion over arpeggios and it’s when we are introduced to our female lead, the woman, the mystery, what is she? We unravel it with our lead Evan and fall in love with this mystery. It’s a very pretty introduction to our second lead. You’ll know when it starts now so you can appreciate it. Modern horror tends to lead to mental illness is the real monster trope, this film is not like that, there is a real monster in the film.

Spring is a film that starts out bleak and gives you a gut punch with the lead's dying mother and how much you can tell he loves her. He goes nuts and has an unfortunate night with a person who had bad intentions. He says fuck it I am going to go to a random place on Earth to hide. It's Italy and he meets a woman who changes his entire path forward. It doesn't do it justice, my summary. It's a horror film you watch with your significant other and both of you will apreciate it.

This is my recomendation and if it had not moved me I would not type this out for you. I can full heartedly recommend this unknown horror flick. I hope that if you do watch it, that it moves you too.

Edit: horror buffs will remember the actor who plays our lead from the Evil Dead (2013), the dude who gets nails shot into him too many times and more recently from Abigail. If you want a similar romantic horror film check out the film Honeymoon of the same year.
