I might be playing a dangerous game with my power

I want to build nuclear but I think I'm going to make a decent size rocket fuel set up so I can get a lot of quick power plus I can build a drone fueling station. I want this world to never have to worry about power ever again.

Also...I've never used batteries which is probably silly on my part but I like to live on the edge.

I made my first ever actually factory building!

This is using 1200 of the impure iron (8 nodes) at the edge of the grassy fields to make iron motors (21.6/min).

I've played over 700 hours and never done anything like this and I'm hooked. It was so fun designing the building and working with the belts within the space.

Any improvement advice is welcome. This is most definitely pretty basic compared to some of the insanely good creations shown in here.

Most of the time I've just thrown things into a manifold and called it good. In order for my turbo fuel plant to work properly I HAD to have 2 390/min belts and I was like well...TODAYS THE DAY!

They're not difficult but for a long time I just couldn't/didn't want to wrap my head around them.

I love that after a long time in this game there's still things to learn.

I recently hit a rough spot in my life that made me want to come back to a factory game and chill. Now I spent 125 hours in Dyson Sphere Program and I have 95% wonderful things to say about it....except for how power is handled.

For those that haven't played, let's say you set up an Energetic Graphite system for power generators. You make (let's say for round numbers because the exact are like 2.7 MJ energy) 5 power per power generator. You make 20 generators so you have 100 power....awesome right? As you increase your production and add to your power grid the power changes. The generators start burning the graphite faster the more power you add. The generators don't increase the power output, they just burn your power units faster. So you check your power grid and you're using 35 power of 65 available power....WHY?????

I mean I've gotten up to green science and well past that kind of power set up (not quite to artificial stars) and it does get better but there's something so nice of producing 2400 MW of coal power and no matter how many machines you hook up to it, it remains 2400 MW of power.
