gear help

I'm on my first Expert playthrough. I have a level 25 Gilded Plate armor set that I really like, I am level 50. I am at Palemion Citadel and I feel a bit under leveled, and I feel like the boss fight will be a bit too challenging. I know I will unlock upgrading gear set after this mission. Is there a decent/similar gear to the Gilded Plate set that I can farm before/or in Palemion Citadel to make this level/boss a bit easier/manageable?

Stagger bosses

At what point do I get to stagger bosses and/or eat their attacks during my charge with GreatSword?

I'm fighting Volbaino. I'm lvl 34 in full gilded plate armor and sword. So far the fight has been a parry dance. Parry > Armor Breaker > Parry > Armor Breaker. At stamina break I pull off a Savage Momentum > Mortal Blow: Bloodshed > Giant Hunt. So far he's been wrecking me at 50% or less hp, I'm not worried about that, I'll get him eventually. I'm just wondering when will I be able to eat bosses attacks to pull off a decent combo. I can't pull off a Parry > Armor Breaker > Savage Momentum > Mortal Blow: Bloodshed, he interrupts the Mortal Blow. I can't even do Parry > Armor Breaker > Giant Hunt, his damn *Clank* attack interrupts it mid jump. Any attack I try to eat will interrupt my attack.

Edit: got my answer.

>Counter-attack their special move (the red kanji one) - dash in and do a quick jab/shoulder push into full combo - charged night's veil, into charged light -> charged Mortal blow, mix other spirit moves like the scream that let's you charge quicker, etc

>Night's Veil sends out damage waves whenever you are charging something. It does a bit of damage and quite a lot of stagger. You might notice enemies doing a flinch-flinch-flinch whenever you charge an attack. That's Night's Veil putting in work

Just beat the game on my first playthrough, need some advice.

1st of all AMAZING game. coming from GoW, Spiderman 1/MM/2, Black Myth Wukong, and most recent Lies of P. I have not had a feeling of wanting to bash my monitor with a controller in a long time, I loved it.

So, my first run I ran with Longsword, it was good and I couldnt see myself playing with anything else, until I got to the last boss. I had to respec(for the first time) into magic build to cheese him with Lotus Soulflame because my great Longsword wasn't doing much damage. Only took 3 spell casts and a few tries. So, since I started NG+ to get the other endings and achievements. Are there any OP boss melting builds that I can use to run through the new game+ quicker? After tasting that 3 shot lotus soulflame, I kind of want something similar in terms of "melting" bosses. thanks in advance.

No LADA liners in New game++

I was trying to get LADA Fiber-Reinforced Liner +2, but Pulcinella doesn't have it even after giving him 3 upgrade boxes.

TIL you can parry Fury Attacks.

For some reason I always thought that glowing red attacks were unblockable (most likely brainwashed from previous games) and I was getting frustrated fighting the Green Swamp Monster because I was on my 5th attempt. So I decided to look up "Lies of P why can't I dodge red attacks" and Lord behold, they are parryable but hard to dodge. I know I'm dumb, this is just a rant post.

I joined Lance Bros and I don't regret it.

This weapon is definitely slept on. The way they made it so fluid in wilds is crazy. This is my first MH game where I actually played all the way through with Lance, and I enjoyed the heck out of it. LS has always been my main since MH Tri, but the counters on Lance in Wilds actually feel a lot more rewarding and satisfying. And those annoying aoe attacks are no bother what so ever. I salute to all you Lance bros, especially the ones who never gave up on your weapon, keep on poking my brothers. The Pokening has begun.

Just finished season 2. Amazing! Show but...

I can't unsee Ted Gunn as Dr. Evil from Austin Powers. It made me disregard that character completely, like he was a joke or a parody. And, in a way, unglued my eyes from the screen, unlike they were in season 1.
