Doomers were right - The Rams lost and the Season is over and everyone is getting fired. You don't need to watch the games anymore!

I sincerely hope everyone that said the season was over legitimately tuned out like they said they were.

Donald Trump "Hitler" commercial during NFL

I am legitimately speechless one what I just saw. Trump with his strokey face talking about driving out communism, fascism, etc, all his more aggressive talking points presenting in a dramatic black and white frame... And then the ad was paid for BY THE U.S. GOVERNMENT.

WE FUCKING PAID FOR THAT GOVERNMENT PROPAGANDA!

I am so sorry I wish I could describe it better but I was literally so taken aback by what I was watching that I can't describe it better than this. I just hope someone else saw it as well and I'm not sounding insane right now.

Today marks 31 days until the start of the regular season, let's all remember 31 years ago whenever the 49ers won their last ring

Favorite "you wont hear his name after the preseason..." guys?

Who is someone you saw play in the preseason, and wont forget, but never really could stay on a team for the regular season?

Mine is Cory Lekkerkerker, obviously because of his name. I believe i saw him play his rookie year with the Chargers.

Update: No longer fear packs of 7 wolves; new fear of multiple Giants unlocked

Probably 5 or 6 days ago, my party ran into a pack of 4 GrWolf and 3 Wolf during our initial trek into the wilderness. We had no idea what was in store for us over the newly built bridge at the beginning of our story as a fledgling level 3 party.

In the days since, we have become much more experienced and managed to save plenty of gold for advanced spells and modern weaponry.

We have just entered a cave "to the southwest of this town" shortly after handing over the required item to expand our travel of the high seas, and have only walked approximately ten paces into this cave. The floor resembles lava. In short amount of time we have spent on this visit, we have encountered 3 large green Giants.

I now yearn for the days when we feared the lowly wolf packs and we were leaving corpses of slain Sharks in our wake before meeting the elves...

Guys, this is the most suspenseful battle I've ever had....

It took me like 15 minutes to kill 6 (sorry) 7 wolves at level 3 and I used every healing option I had available... but the spoils to the survivors were worth it!

We just couldnt hit them, the pack of wolves was too nimble.. I thought we lost right at the start. I have never felt so invested and such high stakes from a random battle before 😭

Edit: and now we begin our journey back to more friendly places...

Edit2: I HAD 1 TENT LEFT, THIS IS SUCH A ROLLERCOASTER OF EMOTION.

Who is Your Team's Breakout Player This Year?

Would also love if you guys elaborate on your choice too. Primarily thinking of non-rookies, but a rookie is obviously acceptable as an answer! Genuinely curious, and would love some stuff to look up about players I don't know much or anything about.

For the Rams, I vote Konata Mumpfield. He played in the absence of Adams last year, and a bit before that, and he looks like he is an athletic freak. Great jumping ability, received a good number of targets where it looked like he was finding the soft spot in the zone, but then he and Stafford were just slightly off kilter from each other and missed a handful of catches by just a few inches. I believe he will be our WR3 this year, and possibly even WR2 once Adams retires.

Honorable Mention: Terrance Ferguson.

Keyboard Randomly Went into Fn Lock

Hello everyone. Logitech G512 Keyboard and I'm having a brand new issue I've never experienced before.

So long story short, I came up to my PC yesterday which was unexpectedly not in sleep mode anymore (was at work, live alone, dog in crate) and narrator mode was turned on. Figured out how to turn that off, logged in, and then realized that, basically, "Fn Lock" is turned on after about 90 minutes of looking into my problem.

I tried to screenshot with Print Screen and it instead muted my PC (the Fn option), and all other F keys are also locked to their alternate Fn options as well. At one point, my Windows key was stuck as pressed down through the PC itself and I couldn't type because it was all shortcuts. Even the on screen keyboard showed it as pressed down even with no Keyboard plugged in but a reboot fixed this.

I tried all the things recommended through Google and Reddit and even AI help and nothing has fixed this (except one thing, kind of):

- Fn+Esc/Caps/Shift/Etc

- No BIOS setting to lock it on or off

- Left it unplugged and PC shut down and physical switch on PSU switched off for 2 hours for dinner

- Downloaded Logitech G Hub and found a setting that "kind of" works

There is a setting called "Enable Fn Inversion" and when that is enabled, my print screen and other top row works as normal again but now I can't use Function at all, and certain other keys are acting very strange.

Pressing Shift 100x in a row does not trigger sticky keys, F keys that have no Fn option simply do not work, and my dash/underscore and equal/plus key along the top row simply do not work whatsoever normally or while holding shift (have to use the num pad for + and -).

Does anyone know what this could be? I am 100% stumped. I tried a different keyboard yesterday and the exact same issue was happening (Keyboard 2 = Razer), but I just plugged it in to test again and now Keyboard 2 is working perfectly find... I'm extremely convinced that this is a software issue since the Fn Inversion thing obviously changed my dilemma, but I don't have actual evidence of it... I'm so, so confused.

Our Roster is More Insane Than You Can Make a Madden Roster

Just think about this:

If you built our roster in Madden just two years ago as a joke, you'd be accused of "cheating" at the game, or making it "too easy" for yourself.

This is similar to playing NFL 2k5 and creating a team that had Ray Lewis, Brian Urlacher, Peyton Manning, Terrell Owens, Torry Holt, and Ladanian Tomlinson... Then being able to play exactly one undefeated year in franchise mode and realizing you're $105m over the cap and need to release the whole team. (But somehow we keep paying everyone!)

We have had Matthew Stafford for 6 (SIX!) seasons now, and I don't know of a single person who expected that. I felt more optimistic and less worried about his injury history than most, and even I said "4 max, unless they're trying for back to back in year 5." Then all of the sudden it became "maybe two more years..." after every year.

It's just crazy how lucky we are for this amount of time. Ten years now... We do not have an in-house first round prospect starting on this team, but who needs prospects when you have All-Pros instead?

I was already jacked for another year with the same squad. Then we added McDuffie. Then Jaylen. I loved the Ty Simpson pick. And now we have Myles F*king Garrett? It finally set in after watching his intro presser just now. I simply can't wait to see how this year goes.

You know what?

FUCK THEM PICKS!

Madden 26 for $13.99 (PS5)?

Hi everyone.

Wondering if I should jump on this, or if 27 is expected to be one of the "major" upgrade years. If I buy 26 im obviously skipping 27.

I usually play maddens for 2-3 years at a time, I skipped 26 because I was worried about the bugs with certain changes they dont have a great reputation for rolling out smoothly (roster configuration, UI changes, etc).

I have a franchise on 25 thats in 2036, played over 90% manually, that I've thoroughly enjoyed. Is 26 enough of an upgrade in any way between gameplay and franchise mode to give up my current 25 franchise and also guarantee I skip the next release?

Thanks!

Edit: decided not to get it and likely wait for 27 instead. Thank you for all the feedback everyone!
