Do you think an arc where a protag just has to be a normal broke player would be good?
I mean arcs have been getting a little stale, and saparata's speech was auraful and all. But what if one of the protags just became a normal player for a while? Like, quit all the fighting and kingship and stuff.
So they would have to go through all the trials and tribulations that a normal person has to face daily and there's gonna be bandits and starvation, and I really think it would help us as viewers sympathize with normal players a lot more.
But some people would be like 'oh but Parrot already did that' but he only had one episode before he went looking for hidden treasure and he was under the protection of the almighty Capital City so he never really had to face bandits. And I don't think he was starving 'cause he got this rare lucrative deal that basically fixed everything.
What about a person just living out in the middle of nowhere? Maybe not even an entire arc, 2-3 episodes would be nice.
Theoretically, could a fight with this boss last forever?
Since First Sinner can bind, theoretically, she could pepper you with attacks and then heal right? Making any damage you do to her null because she just heals it back?
this is what happens when you have way too much dps
Fun fact: In the double moss mother fight in weavenest atla, you can kill the first moss mother before the second one ever comes out. I did it with time to spare, too. Threadstorm spamming + Shaman Crest + Volt Filament really carries. |
Never judge a oneshot by its size
there's something different about this seagull meme compared to the rest...
that's right the seagull gets disappointed when it learns they're all 300-word oneshots
The longer your oneshot, the more kudos it gets. Even if it's slop compared to a 300-word oneshot you made. Folks you gotta stop judging by size. Not saying long oneshots are bad, of course.
Why did Lost Garmond die, but Lost Lace lived?
Hi someone who barely knows the lore here, is it just because lost lace is made from silk which is 'healthy' or something?
my brain thought this was d3rlord3 for a hot freaking sec wtf is wrong with me
Theory: Corruption in Parrot's Government
INTRODUCTION
I'm assuming y'all read the title. Now I'm mainly going to be focusing on the mayor of Highwater city, ParamountX, because there's a lot of suspicion surrounding him. I have two main pieces of evidence: 4CVIT saying that the mayor wasn't there at the city for some reason, and Parrot saying there should be enough food to go around but there isn't. Then based on these two pieces of evidence, I'm going to draw a conclusion.
EVIDENCE
First of all, in Parrot's newest episode, 4CVIT said that the mayor wasn't there at the city so he couldn't authorize them to build the cannons. Which is... odd. Very odd. Why would a mayor not be at their city*, especially* when they know there's going to be a battle there? Where was he?
Second, Parrot himself says that, theoretically, Highwater should produce enough food to go around, but, in practice, there's just never enough. Where does all that food go? We know there's thousands of players on Unstable, and we know that a lot of them starve. We also know Highwater produces 80% of the food for these players. That's thousands of pieces of food. Where could it possibly go?
CONCLUSION
Based off of these pieces of evidence, I'm going to make a conclusion. Remember, this is all speculation. In both of these cases, the characters used “for some reason”, which is spinderously (suspiciously) vague. The Mayor isn’t there at a time of battle, and food mysteriously disappears, with no apparent reason. I’m going to take a guess and say that ParamountX is corrupt. Although he certainly doesn’t seem greedy, it could be that he’s secretly conspiring with bandits and/or Arachn1d’s army for protection or money.
REASONING
This would explain the absence - calling the bandits or making a deal with Arachn1d’s army before the showdown - as well as the disappearing food. Because starvation is a huge problem, the bandits or army would definitely appreciate some food in exchange for some kind of deal. We all know that Cindercrest gets a lot of their fighting materials from Clown, but the Nether doesn’t have much in the way of food, and a lot of food has to be supplied to a huge army like that. This could give them a sustainable source of food, especially when Highwater is pumping out so much.
FLAWS
That said, I do think there is a flaw in this theory. Saparata seems truly devoted to his cause, and the starvation problem started far before Cindercrest even existed, so it is almost certainly not just Cindercrest taking all of the food - they probably have deals with other bandit groups.
TL;DR
So to summarize this spinderous mess of an essay, based on two pieces of evidence - 4CVIT's testimony that the mayor of Highwater was missing and Parrot's knowledge that there was never enough food to go around, even though there should be - I have a theory that ParamountX is corrupt and is conspiring with bandits/Arachn1d's army. By providing them with food - which is relatively rare and valuable in Unstable - he is able to get something in return, for example protection or money.
Thank y'all for reading.
SP: SPINDEROUS PROPAGANDA
'Spinderous' is a not-yet-word that us skongers (Silksongers) are trying to make a word. Used by Crawfather in the context of 'spinderous spiderling', it is an adjective that many have taken to mean 'nimble'. However, it serves as an all-around adjective for anything and everything. What I'm asking you to do is to include 'spinderous' in your next conversation. And if you're a real supporter, maybe you should copy-paste this section into your next loong ass essay post! Thanks for your support, but you are NOT required so don't hate on me! ^^
