Sources reporting that we've put in a bid for Irankunda from Watford. Can't claim to have watched him a lot but he looked class when I saw him play against Turkey for Australia. I think he'd be a great signing. I'd also happily take Louza from Watford.
Who else should we have from the Championship?
Watching Tuchel post match explaining that they put Rice at right back for more difficult crosses... Is that not the exact reason we should've brought TAA? I know his defending isn't always the best, but isn't his unique skillset (ability to ping the ball from anywhere) exactly why Trent should've been brought?
I just think we'd find it much easier to unlock stubborn defenses if we had Trent's passing ability. What do you guys think?
What do you guys think we should do with Abu Kamara? Apparently Portsmouth want him back (surprise surprise). I either think we let him go there on loan, see if he performs and raises his value to be sold later. OR we sell him to Portsmouth for around £1.5-2 million, and slap on a 50% sell on clause.
It's a shame it didn't work out. Perhaps he's a Mallik Wilks type - amazing in League One but not cut out for the Championship.
I love this game.
Looking back at highlights before Millar and Belloumi had their injuries, they looked so much more confident and ruthless. They're still class, but just seem a little more hesitant. Is it a mental thing? Have the injuries made them less confident to drive at players? I'm really hoping they push on because at their best they could be a force in the prem.
