Whenever I see an unpopular opinion post in the main TVD sub I often role my eyes because many of the opinions expressed there are very popular, at least within that sub.
So I was wondering what counts for an unpopular opinion here! Now, let’s be respectful, even if the opinion boils your blood. I'll put away pitchforks and torches if you do.

I noticed that most fanfictions tend to focus on retelling the story from the fan’s preferred or inspired perspective, yet few ever go beyond the story and I feel that’s far too limiting. Legacies also has this, so I wanted to ask everyone what they think.
What happens to the couples?
How do their lives look after everything? More adventure, peace or both?
Other questions I am not thinking of right now.
For me? I've come up with a fanfiction detailing one of the biggest adventures the crew will ever have, I’m writing it right now and don't really plan to post it. Mainly cause it involves aliens, a self insert MC and a few other decisions the fandom may never agree with. Otherwise, the couples stay mostly the same.

Also that she's dominant inside and outside the bedroom. He's also a nerd. Bonus if she's a crime boss or something.

Got a recent craving for this flip of the usual dynamic.
Now, I'd rather the guy not he rustic, more like a nerd and especially the guy should be black. The FMC can be any race.
Also, the FMC being dominant both inside and outside the bedroom is preferred. If we can get an FLR in there I'd be over the moon.
