About me: I am a simple, honest and straight forward person. A working from home, introvert, hijabi who is always looking for reasons to stay at home and be alone. When I'm at home, I work, pray, read books or do anything that I find interesting or creative like puzzles. When I'm outside, I enjoy spending time in nature, meeting friends and exploring new places.

Overall, I’m quite reserved, shy and private person but I have a whole different personality for my family and loved ones.

Some future goals I want to pursue with/without husband: get a PhD, own a small house + library + garden, and do something meaningful for the community. InshaALLAH

I have 3-4 years of work experience in the development sector and published a few research reports. But I do not have any first author and journal publications.

With this background, I'm seriously considering a career break. My plan is to gain more research experience and publish something before applying for a PhD. What do you think about it? Any suggestion or asvice would be greatly appreciated.
