Any love for RØDE Unify or Connect + compatible mics?

I don't seem to see posts from anyone using Unify or Connect with up to 4 compatible USB mics (eg Podmic USB/Videomic Go II/XDM 100) for podcasting. On paper it seems like a perfect lightweight and budget friendly solution, with most of the benefits of a RØDEcaster Pro 2 (including processing & sound pads) except the 4 headphone outs. And it's pretty easy to just get a 4 output headphone box, if everyone can live with a simple output mix right?

I recall some people who struggled with software glitches - is this still an issue?

Was the need for a powered USB hub an obstacle?

Automix - Tascam Mixcast 4 downsides?

For speedy workflow on a 3 to 4 person podcast, having a Dugan-style Automix feature built-in to the mixer/recorder seems like a no brainer. But surprisingly (from what I can see) the RØDECaster Pro 2 doesn't offer this; however the Mackie DLZ Creator does, as does the much cheaper Tascam Mixcast 4. So what are the downsides to the Tascam?

Pasted text

I'm not concerned by most of Keep's many compromises. However one thing that frequently irks me is how if I copy & paste a complex answer from Gemini, it ends up as one huge blob of text with no space AT ALL between what was paragraph breaks; and needs a lot of work to make it presentable at all. I thought Apple notes stripped formatting but when I paste there the layout remains basically as originally presented. Am expecting a stern "no", but is there *any* workaround? I'm not expecting rich formatting, just at least line breaks!

Is there no way to tell whether café means the drink or the place other than context?

This is from Google Translate, so perhaps not the best way to say it: J'ai bu un café dans un café

Can Search not find multiple terms if not appearing consecutively in image?

I often have to do multiple searches to find terms I know are in the image. An example just came up: an Aldi receipt including a particular Shiraz. It comes up if I search "Aldi", it comes up if I search "Shiraz", but does not come up if I search "Aldi Shiraz" or "Aldi, Shiraz". Do multiple words in searches have to appear consecutively to be detected?

Would this work with the Insta360 Mic Pro?

Hey if you wanted to camouflage the mic, how easy/effective is it to take a close up photo of the talent's top and upload that as the e-ink image displayed on the mic?

Bambino + cleaning/descaling q

Having just done my first (enforced) cleaning cycle on the Bambino Plus, I have some questions. When it said I needed to fill the water tank to MAX and put a 2 litre container under the basket and steam wand, I thought - is this going to backflush a litre and a half of water through? Where's it all going to go? Backflushing usually goes into the drip tray but that will surely overflow? Will it all come out the steam wand? So it only did about half a dozen backflushes, easily contained in the drip tray and a very small amount came out the steam wand at the end. So why the need to fill the water to MAX and have the 2L container?

Also - with my previous (LeLit Anita) machine, cleaning (other than just blind backflushing) was just with Cafiza or similar. With this machine there are separate products for cleaning and descaling. My understanding is Cafiza can replace the Breville cleaning tabs when they're used up, but do I really need a second product for descaling?

Which is the worse of these two evils?

A friend's wife bought a machine with only a pressurised portafilter basket. When I asked what grinder they have I was told it's a blade grinder. Okay, so are they actually better off using preground coffee because at least it's probably consistent in grind size, or beans chopped up every which way with the blade grinder, but at least fresher? Sorry if this has been unpleasant to read.

2 questions for bar staff/management

If you look up beer serving sizes, it seems a 425ml schooner (NSW) is designed for 375ml + head. If trying to calculate alcohol consumption, would you say a schooner these days really is pretty much 425ml though? I drink IPAs or pale ales and they never seem to be served with much of a head.

Beer taps always say ABV of the beer which I appreciate because I do like to keep track for health reasons. Obviously bottles & cans of all alcohol have it listed & if I order spirits I'll have a fair idea given a shot is usually 25-30%; but it if I order a cocktail there's no way to know its alcohol content - I usually have to guess by how it's made me feel. Is there any reason why cocktails get left out of alcohol disclosure?
