So - we finally got a response about our amended return and it’s saying we are getting a refund BUT the 1040X said our additional refund was $3,000 and this appears it’s $300.
Now what?
We haven’t received a check. We got two different notices, one was dated for August 17 and said give them 60 days and the other one was dated from August 17 and said that they’ve adjusted our account.
So, I was one of the people that got screwed over because I didn’t realize that my Instacart tips were exempt from taxes last year. We realized when Instacart sent an email out a week after we e-filed. Our tax person, and then helped us fill out the amendment.
We sent everything to the IRS, it said they received it on March 23. Mid June, we got a notice that they were missing a Schedule 1A and said we had _ amount of time to respond. I cannot remember how much time they gave us, but I do know that it was within five days of getting that notice that we got the correct form and mailed that back to them as well
I was keeping updates on it and it got adjusted mid June like June 15 or something which is why I tried to call the IRS and ask them if they still needed the paper because we got the notice and three days later, it said it had been adjusted. Nobody answered the phone and I was on hold for seven hours.
Well, then we got a notice that it was completed on July 6 so I just assumed we were getting the additional refund within a few weeks. I happen to see you on a different thread of this sub Reddit about the code and tracking the transcript. This is what my transcript says so if I’m understanding correctly from other posts I have seen
do I have to resend the amendment in and all documents in and try again?

It was a part of the hand-me-down name trend, I can get over how long the name is, and the last one before storm is Kaitlyn and Paige mixed together for two family members.
It was from somebody that’s now offering these custom memory boxes, the other examples were Landry Grace and Aliyah Rose - but this one stuck out.

So my eye and hair colors have been a question to me my whole life and I found this sub so here we go. I have been told brown by most people - I disagree. My mom and dad say hazel.
If they are hazel is hazel considered green or brown when you look at genetic punnett squares for your kids?
Bonus: here are my eyes, my husbands eyes (they can linger more blue as well, my two year olds eyes, and my 6 month olds current eye color - any guesses for her?)
